Software Testing Engineer
Job Description
The role is based in the Shanghai but will involve working closely with colleagues based in local and in USA/Singapore.
We require individuals who can be self-motivated to deliver individual projects as well as participating in wider project teams.
The Software Testing Engineer secures the software quality by following the QA standards and processes within the project
team, To fulfil the role, the candidate will:
Provide analytical leadership on functional requirements
Having a clear understanding on process of software testing
Ensure proper delivery, compliance to QA standards and processes
Actively be involved in continuous process improvement so as to achieve operational excellence
Be proactive and able to think out of the box in solution to obstacles encountered during testing planning and execution
Required Qualifications
BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience and skills;
Solid understanding of software development principles.
Solid understanding of QA methodologies and test development
Three years of experience in software development / QA
Experience with MS SQL, Oracle DB
Experience in .net, Java
Good programming skill in script language (VBA,perl)
Proficiency in test case design, ability to accomplish functional modules test independently;
Strong hands-on testing automation experience (using QTP)
Demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities, and trouble shooting skills
Quick learner of new technology with can-do and easy-going attitude
Good oral and written English skills.
Good communication skills and teamwork spirit
L&P Engineer
Job Description
The role is based in the Shanghai but will involve working closely with colleagues based in North America/Asia/Europe/Australia.
We require individuals who can be self-motivated to deliver individual projects as well as participating in wider project teams.
The L&P (Load & Performance) Engineer will ensure that our products are highly responsive, reliable and massively scalable.
This is a hands-on job and will be expected to identify the potential performance bottlenecks, analyse the (Reliability, Availability,
Scalability & Performance) metrics, profile and support to optimize the code. Candidate will work very closely with developer and
DBA to develop and execute on an overall performance strategy. To fulfil the role, the candidate will:
Identify system performance bottleneck areas and recommend tuning of application code/configuration as necessary
Provide inputs on design for performance & scalability
Run performance benchmarks, analyze and improve performance regressions
Utilize technical skills and knowledge in the areas of .net, Oracle, MSSQL, etc to recommend optimal application structure
Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to ensure product performance
L&P Engineer Requirements (1 position)
BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience and skills;
Three years of experience in Load & Performance testing with HP Loadrunner or other tools
Experience in HP QC
Solid understanding of Internet protocols (HTTP/HTTPS)
Experience in MS SQL/Oracle DB from L&P perspective
Understand architecture and performance tuning in a web multi-tiered environment
Capacity planning and performance testing (case design, script programming, scenario design, case execution)
Performance problem determination and root cause analysis
Demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities, and trouble shooting skills
Quick learner of new technology with can-do and easy-going attitude
Good oral and written English skills.
Good communication skills and teamwork spirit
