Software Test Engineer (软件测试工程师)
Global Technology Management Group (GTMG) is an international software development consulting firm providing software design, development, and project management services to leading American high-tech companies. Due to our growing business needs we are expanding our Beijing development office.
Job Description
The Software Test Engineer works in our Beijing consulting group as part of an international software development team to test new software built for a major e-commerce web site (电子商务网站). Successful applicants will be working with engineers having both domestic and international working backgrounds, in a bilingual environment which provides US-based software development process and China-based practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Analyze the functional specifications and the software itself, and develop test plans （测试计划）and test scripts（测试脚本）.
• Write programs and scripts in Java and other languages to automate testing.
• Discover bugs by executing test cases（测试用例）, manual and automated test suites, regression tests, and build verification tests.
• Assess and verify bug fixes.
• Use the client’s defect tracking system（缺陷追踪系统）.
• Work with our client’s test leaders, program managers and developers to identify and prioritize the bugs to be fixed.
• Achieve the client’s goals and bring success to our clients and our entire team.
Requirements
• 1+ years experience working in software testing（软件测试）.
• 1+ years Java programming experience (or similar).
• Ability to directly read HTML.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools and techniques.
• Understanding of the software engineering development process（软件工程开发周期）.
• Strong ability to read and understand technical documents in English.
• Speak English moderately well（CET4 and above）, and work effectively in a bilingual environment.
• Ability to work independently.
• Honest and trustworthy person.
• BA or BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
Highly Desired Experience
• Experience with JUnit and related unit-testing（单元测试） frameworks.
• Experience with web site functional and load testing（压力测试）.
• Experience with automated software testing tools (open source preferred).
• Experience with SOAP.
• Experience with XML.
