JOB DESCRIPTION
To supervise Test Analyst in the creation of detailed test plans and test scripts by reviewing and analysing business requirements (RIF or BRD) and referring to system’s development documentation (WRF/SOW).
To plan, co-ordinate and manage a full regression test in the form of a typical day including operational users.
To plan, co-ordinate and manage a release of code to the production environment including a ‘soft-start’ with operational users.
Provide updates on progress of testing against the testing strategy document and testing timeline.
Identifying test tools or other efficiencies to assist in the manual testing process.
To coach and provide technical guidance to other members of the team and potentially take supervisor responsibility.
Within the international offshore team, a designated trainer to manage on-going training requirements and disseminate training provided in Asia and UK.
To apply testing techniques to mainframe applications and for all existing and new technologies including internet, client server and vendor software packages.
To conduct and participate in integrated testing cycles that spread over multiple lines of business.
To support client implementations by running tests of their incoming files, scenarios and outputs.
To undertake various ad hoc, BAU processes as directed by management
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS REQUIRED
Have an understanding of the testing principles and techniques in accordance with the ISO standards.
Be able to apply a risk-based approach to testing when determining the criticality of completing test scenario’s and the severity of errors raised.
Be able to define the boundaries for testing all system’s enhancement and projects.
Have an understanding of the V model and Project Lifecycle standards.
Have a good understanding of the risk and compliance policies of Treasury Service.
Have an understanding of the core applications and products of the Treasury Services business including an appreciation of all major system interfaces.
Have an awareness of the principles of Information Technology, JPM IT Control policies and change control procedures.
Have a detailed understanding of the relationship between Regional UAT and In-Country Operations and their respective UAT responsibilities and capabilities
Familiar with Microsoft Office (EXCEL, WORD etc.)
Candidates with good knowledge of international and local clearing payment processing are highly preferred
At least 8 years experience is required for UAT manager and at least 3-5 years experience required for UAT analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION
Under supervision of a Senior UAT Analyst/Manager create detailed test plans and test scripts by reviewing and analysing business requirements (RIF or BRD) and referring to system’s development documentation (WRF/SOW).
To follow the test script, and for each error raised, manage through to completion or to meet the defined exit criteria. To provide testing sign-off to implementing an enhancement to production.
To perform business testing and regression testing of system’s enhancements.
To understand a user’s requirement in order to perform user acceptance testing on an application before being promoted to production.
Recording of test results and investigating each deviation which may be the result of a known or new error.
Provide regular updates and raise any potential delays or slippage that may impact the scheduled implementation to the Senior Test Analyst, Test Manager or UAT Manager.
To ensure all impacted parties are fully appraised and/or trained in all aspects of the enhancement prior to implementation.
To support client implementations by running tests of their incoming files, scenarios and outputs.
To undertake various ad hoc, BAU processes as directed by management
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS REQUIRED
Have an understanding of the fundamental test process comprising of planning, specification, execution, recording and checking for completion.
Be able to define what makes a successful test scenario ie it has a reasonable chance of finding a fault.
Be able to identify the test objective of each scenario and define test conditions either valid or invalid.
Be able to categorize business, functional and non-functional tests.
Be able to define the boundaries for testing a system’s enhancement.
Be able to define the scope for partial regression testing by selecting a subset of test cases that cover impacted functions or applications.
Have an appreciation of the types of non-functional testing including performance/stress, security access, disaster recovery, conversion, memory management, procedure, reliability, configuration etc
Have a high-level understanding of the core applications and products of the Treasury Services business.
