关于POP3的问题

LoadRunner中关于POP3的一个函数.其定义如下,
long pop3_delete(char *transaction, char *deleteList, [char *save_to_param,] LAST);
该函数的功能为:
The pop3_delete function deletes messages on the POP3 server.
但是Mercury出版的"用户指南 第II卷-协议"中的解释为删除POP3服务器上指定序号的邮件;
实际应用中发现,该函数不能删除POP3服务器上指定序号的邮件,很是困惑,请求明白人指点.
