I reached out to you about a month and a half ago. I had found your resume and was interested in talking to you about a position in Beijing with Microsoft. I recently shared some of the resumes that sourced back them with one of my latest hiring managers, and he was very impressed with your background. He is interested in talking to you about a role in our offices in Beijing. This position offers an excellent opportunity for personal and professional growth. The XXX team, based in Beijing, is focused on building services and platforms to increase user targeting, data analysis, reporting and ultimately
enable Microsoft to realize billions in revenue in the highly growing and competitive ad market. We are looking for highly
motivated SDET to help ship our next wave of web services and platforms to compete with Google and Yahoo! XXX works in
feature teams so Test Leads will lead a test team working on and own feature areas that are the cornerstones of the solution
suite.
Responsibilities include:
· Drive technical initiatives, infrastructure and process improvements, and quality standards across XXX’s test organization.
· Complete ownership of test schedule and resource planning, developing and reviewing feature test plan and test cases;
and driving overall quality of your feature areas.
· Designing and automating tests to ensure complete test coverage; analyzing bugs and issues; generating reports for test
results and quality assessment;
· Collaboration with development, program management and other team members, as well as being a driver from test side.
· Participation in project planning, design, code reviews and day to day contributions to the product.
Qualifications:
· Demonstrated track record of shipping multiple software releases.
· Demonstrated domain knowledge in software testing methodologies and quality assurance processes.
· Strong written and oral communication skills in English (both in office and when working with team members in the United
States).
· Posses strong design and coding skills in C/C++/C#, and experienced in debugging applications. Ability to ramp up on new
technologies, as well as design and develop testing tools.
· Passionate about understanding how things work and making software quality better for the customer, and a keen ability to
identify, zero-in, and flush out problems and defects in complex software systems is highly preferred.
· Flexibility in working on fast changing project environment that may have changing requirements over time.
· At least 7 years of development and testing experience.
· Knowledge and experience in test automation and test design are required.
· Knowledge and experience in online services and/or advertising is a plus but not required.
· International travel is expected, with frequency based on business need. |
