Role : Business Development Manager, Banking and Financial Services - CNBDM
Location – Shanghai, PRC
Key Responsibilities:
The BDM is responsible for driving new business revenues from a named account and territory list within the IBU. The jobholder would mainly be responsible for the following:
• Work closely with the Unit Head to create a Market penetration strategy for Banking and Financial Services, and Targeted pursuit plan for Companies in the region
• Work with solution and delivery anchors to align group capabilities with market needs
• Pro-active sales activities to develop new opportunities
• Primary owner of the Opportunity Management process - Prospect-Evaluate-Propose-Close - for new prospects or new clients within the first 18 months of opening
• Develop a network of relationships with professionals and key executives in the industry
• Develop and nurture key partnerships with other product and technology companies
• Form peer relationships with client personnel at the VP/Director level, and working relationships with CXOs; Sourcing for additional business
• Following up with prospects and manage an active pipeline of new business opportunities to meet stated goals
• Working with the pre-sales functions to craft a suitable and compelling proposal for the client
• Showcase Infosys Capabilities, Value, Relationships and Governance in all interactions
• Manage proposal pricing negotiations and closure process
• Taking Infosys Solutions to the target market
Skills/ Profile requirement envisaged
• Total relevant experience of 5+ years with a proven track record
• Engineering (Bachelors or Masters) degree (MBAs also preferred) from good Chinese/Overseas universities.
• Knowledge of banking and financial services industry in China, preferably with functional or technical experience
• Excellent communication ability in English (Read, Write & Speak); CET4 is mandatory. Preference will be given to candidates with CET6.
• Good team working skills and ability to work with multi-location teams.
• The position will involve travel to multiple locations

1. Coordinate with clients and internal project team to ensure opportune and quality delivery;
2. Responsible for managing the implementation and support of SAP FICO;
3. Work as independent consultant in SAP FICO, if as senior consultant should guide and lead junior consultant in the team.
4. Work together with other module consultants for system integration;
5. Help clients to make necessary business process reengineering and provide appropriate solutions to client business requirements.
1. University degree in Accounting/ Economics/ Business Administration/ Computer Science or a related field, highly motivated;
2. At least 3 years of experience in SAP Implementation, Support, Migration and Upgrade Experience, at least 3 full cycle of implementation in FICO.
3. Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills, as well as self-activated with strong motivation working with the core team;
4. Ability to work within and share knowledge across a globally connected team with a common vision.
5. Must also be willing to travel mainly within China but also internationally;
6. Good command of both English and Mandarin

1 Leading a team of over 5-10, responsible for managing multiple system integration projects or a single large or complex project;
2 Manage relationships with some clients and may have responsibility for business development;
3 Develop and Maintain good connections with all levels at client;
4 Manage project consulting staff;
5 Identify and pursue business opportunities with potential and existing clients.
Job Requirement
1 Requires highly refined business knowledge or technical expertise;
2 Hold an advanced degree with 5 to 12 years of relevant work experience, including both consulting and system integration providers experience;
3 Track records in leadership and large scaled S.I. projects implementations
4 Experience should be demonstrated in terms of winning and delivering engagements with the major industry players in China. A relationship with existing accounts a must.
5 Good written and verbal English language skills and excellent communication skills;
6 Be willing to travel in China and oversea.
