Console game QA
Job Responsibilities
- Test games based on different requirements of different console. For example XBOX, PS2, PC, PS3, Wii, etc.
- Fulfill assigned testing tasks according to Testing Process & Methodology and provide feedback timely.
- Perform different type of test based on QA schedule. Submit bug into the database and track the bug’s status.
- Report the result after testing finished.
- Visualizing and planning the best way to test all sections of each game.
- Making notes regarding game tests to be performed.
- Help other departments to reproduce bugs.
Job Requirements
- Familiarity with console gaming and all kinds of game (online / PC games ).
- Have passion for creating games with fully responsibility.
- Strong ability to work independently and strong interpersonal and communications skills.
- Ability and desire to quickly learn testing techniques.
- Advanced computer skill, Microsoft Office, simple graphic editing software, etc.
- Able to read and write in English to the level of understanding console providers technical requirements and describing bug clearly.
- Able to read and speak Japanese is plus.
- 1 Year in game industry QA experience is plus.
游戏测试员
工作职责
-在不同的主机上依照各种需求完成游戏测试。 如XBOX, PS2, PC, PS3, Wii等等。
-按时完成依据特定的测试流程/方法分配的任务。
-依照QA测试计划进行不同类型的测试，及时提交bug到数据库并且跟踪其状态
-完成测试后提交报告
-探索游戏的每个部分，提炼最有效的测试方法
-记录测试过程中的细节，在测试开始前准备测试用例
-协助其他部门重现bug
职位要求
-熟悉所有类型的游戏，特别是基于console的游戏（也包括online和PC游戏）
-对游戏行业以及游戏有热情，对软件测试行业有热情
-出色的独立完成工作的能力，出色的交流沟通能力
-出色的学习能力，特别针对于测试技术
-熟悉计算机的各种操作，熟练使用office等工具软件
-出色的英文读写能力，可以清楚的用英文描述bug
-有日语能力者优先
-具备一年以上测试工作经验者优先
