SR.White Box QA Engineer       (BASE: Hangzhou)                                            
•        3-5 years of experience developing and testing complex software applications in Java
•        Ability to design and implement automated tests including interpretation of the results and reports
•        Automation/scripting skills in java language
•        Testing background with Web applications, iPad/iPhone, or Android applications desirable
•        Good written and oral communication skills in English and Mandarin

QA Engineer -- Rovi Cloud Gateway
BASE:     Shanghai  
Reponsibilities:
- Execute test plans, and report and track issues through resolution
- Develop automated test scripts to maximize efficiency
- Develop full functional and regression test suites to ensure complete code coverage during the test phase
- Perform load testing, locate performance bottlenecks
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues until resolution or hand-off to the development team
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on features and usability
- Create and analyze reports relating to performance benchmarking, test plan status, and site usage statistics
- Outstanding team player and positive attitude
- Tenacious and driven when tackling tough technical issues
- Strong customer service attitude and eagerness to solve problems
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively when discussing issues with team members and customers

Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of QA experience with emphasis on automated testing (white box testing).

- Strong understanding of  HTTP, SOAP, RESTful web services testing.
- Prefer QA experience in Advertising industry.
- Strong hands-on experience with SoapUI Pro, Jira, SVN, Wireshark will be a plus;
- Strong hands-on experience with Jmeter or other load testing tools;
- Good to have devices related web services testing [TV, BlueRay, DVD, mobile etc];
- Familiar with agile software development cycles.

Automation QA Engineer -- Digital Media Recognition (Lasso)

Responsibilities:
•          Work closely with development and product management in translating product requirements and functional designs into highly effective test plans, execute these plans, and communicate issues clearly
•        Responsible for the quality of the product features tested as well as how the assigned features interact with existing features
•           Develop and maintain automated and manual test sets
•           Be highly creative in automating test cases and creating tools and scripts needed for supporting the test cycles
•           Be able to use the testing tools available or find\create new ones to solve our unique testing needs
•          Work with offshore testers to accomplish creation and execution of test sets
Requirement:
•            Minimum of 3 years experience in a creation\execution of test plans for software products
•            Strong technical background such as programming knowledge of C/C++, C#, Java, or Visual Basic
•            Minimum 2 years experience with software development projects using Java
•            Minimum of 1 year experience testing or developing web based applications
•            Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as an excellent ability to quickly grasp concepts and learn new technologies

Responsibilities:

•        Review and provide effort estimates on accomplishing team tasks
•        Decompose team tasks into specific work items to be accomplished in an iterative development period or sprint
•        Assess risk and priority, and balance tasks in a development period or sprint to ensure maximum team success
•        Design, develop, prove, and document production ready software products and solutions
•        Occasionally review code and unit tests of other software developers and engineers on the team
•        Provide product definition and high-level design support for team software products and efforts
•        Decompose high level business requirements into component business requirements for inclusion in short iterative development efforts or sprints
•         
Requirement:
•        3-5 years’ experience programming with Java with focus on Event Driven architectures etc
•        Expertise with big data and related analytics would be a plus
•        WebServices knowledge with an emphasis on REST paradigm is a must

Description

The lead software engineer will work in a dynamic environment focusing on the development and delivery of products using a Java Web Services Platform. The lead software engineer will be responsible for leading a Java development team of 3-8 engineers and will be accountable to assign all activities related to the SDLC in an iterative development environment. We are looking for professionally-confident candidates who enjoy a fast-paced, creative environment using latest development technologies to leverage their mature experience, communication, leadership, and team-work skills.

Job Responsibilities/Successful candidate profile  
A successful candidate would be someone who is a strong team player with an aspiration for excellence, multi-tasking and is able to meet goals under tight deadlines. This lead engineer will be working closely with Program Managers, Product managers and other Senior Engineering staff during various stages of PDLC. Superior communication skills written and oral are essential.  Ability to provide technical leadership to a peer-group of 3 to 8 Engineers across cross functional disciplines (development, QA etc) / teams is expected.  Will also work with production and development staff to resolve customer issues as needed

Required Skills
•        Minimum 3 to 5 (5 to 8 for lead) years experience working with Java or J2EE using either Eclipse or Net Beans development environments
•        Strong Java web development experience and thorough knowledge of web service and cloud development concepts is required.
•        Expertise in Object Oriented Programming techniques, REST, XML, XSLT, SOAP, Web Services, Design Patterns and any unit testing framework. MySQL experience is a definite plus.
•        Knowledge/experience with Agile based development methodologies  
•        Technical leadership experience

Education
•        Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems/Technology
•        Technical certifications pertinent to software (ex: Java) , database or quality assurance engineering
