Position 1: Validation Engineer of Linux BSP
Description:
In this position, the candidate will be responsible for validating Linux BSP of Marvell's latest
embedded processors and platforms. His or her responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Test planning and execution.
- Communicating developers for defect management.

- Requirements:
- Good testing sense.
- Good coordination skills
- Good communication skill in both English and Mandarin

Position 2: Software Development Engineer in Telephony Validation
Description:
Our main products are WCDMA and TD-SCDMA Android-based smart phones. Like Nexus one or G3 phone.
In this position, the candidate will be responsible for test design and implementation for telephony validation
related tasks on Marvell's latest embedded processors and platforms. His or her responsibilities will include but
not limited to,
- Understand and define structured quality matrix for phone usage based scenarios.
- Technical design and implementation among team for telephony related technologies.
- Carry out project execution with team members to meet release schedules.
Requirement:
- BS/MS in EE, CE, CS or equivalent is required
- Experience on Linux OS and knowledge of application framework such as Android, Meego is preferred.
- Grasp script languages (such as shell,ttl,perl and so on), java/C language.
- Average score of major courses > 80 is required.
- Excellent communication skill in both English and Mandarin is required.
- Smart phone related development/validation experience, telephony skill will be plus.
- Embedded system development/validation experience will be plus.、

Position 3: Test Development Engineer of Linux BSP
Description:
In this position, the candidate will be responsible for developing test suite against Linux BSP of Marvell's latest
embedded processors and platforms. His or her responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Analyze features of silicon and software to define quality assurance matrix.
- Develop test suite to indicate quality status on functionality/Stability/Performance/Reliability/Power apects.
- Develop tools to speed up test suite development and release.
Requirements:
- Solid C and C++ object oriented programming skills.
- Solid Linux development skills at application level or driver level.
- Solid embedded system development skills.
- Multimedia related development background (OpenGL, Gstreamer) will be a plus.
- Excellent communication skill in both English and Mandarin
- Excellent English written skills
- Team player.

Position 4: Graphics Validation Engineer
Responsibilities:
His/her responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Identify quality (functionality, performance, stability, etc.) criteria for 2D/3D graphics libraries and system
integration on Marvell silicon.
- Design and develop test suites to reach defined test coverage and debugging requirements.
- Design together with automation engineers to develop test automation systems.
- Co-operate with development team to execute the defect management process.
Qualifications:
The candidate must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with 3+ year relevant expereince,
or Master of Science degree in Computer Science with 1+ year relevant experience, or equivalent.
Additional qualifications include:
- In depth knowledge or working experince in similiar projects is a must.
- Programming skill in C, C++ and scripting language, i.e. Perl, is a must.
- Experience in general embedded software development/debugging/validation and its automation is a plus.
- Good debugging capability is a plus.

Position 5: Audio/speech Test Design Engineer
Responsibilities
His/her responsibilities will include but not be limited to
- Identify the functionality, stability, performance and power quality criteria for audio and speech codecs and effects
(AAC, AMR, echo cancellation, etc.);
- Design and develop test suites to reach defined test coverage and debugging requirement.
- Design together with automation engineers to develop automated test suites.
- Co-operate with development team to execute the defect management process.
Qualifications
The candidate must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science with 3+ year
relevant experience, or Master of Science degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science with 1+ year relevant
experience, or equivalent.
Additional qualifications include:
- In-depth knowledge or working experience in audio/speech projects is a must.

Position 6: Multimedia Software Development Engineer in Test
Description:
In this position, the candidate is responsible for test design for multimedia solutions on embedded OS on Marvell processors.  
His/her responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Identify the functionality, stability, performance and power quality criteria for targeted multimedia solution as well as its
building blocks;
- Design and lead junior engineers to develop test suites to reach defined test coverage and debugging requirement.
- Design together with automation engineers and lead junior engineers to develop test automation systems.
Requirement:
- Strong programming skill in C, C++ and scripting language, i.e. Perl, is a must.
- Excellent working experience in multimedia projects, i.e. video telephony, is a must.
- Knowledge or working experience in multimedia framework and codec is a plus.
- Experience in general embedded software development/debugging/validation and its automation is a plus.
- Leadership experience in either software validation or development is a plus.
- Technical influence and interpersonal influence experience in multi-national company is a must. (English and Mandarin)

- Experience in Embedded Linux* OS or equivalent

- Fluent English read/write/speak capability
- Knowledge of XScale micro-architecture or ARM* architecture will be optional

Job Description:
The Application System Engineering team is looking top talent in technical program management to drive mobile platform product development.
The scope of a typical platform program involves platform strategy development, silicon/board bring-up, Linux BSP development, Android enabling, multi-media and graphics development, full system integration/optimization and quality assurance.

Responsibilities:
-Drive execution of software activities in supporting new silicon chips and corresponding reference platform, from design to production.
-Interface with global and multi-discipline engineering teams to plan and drive software enabling and deliverables.
-Develop and Maintain full system plan from silicon bring-up to full platform productization.
-Prioritize engineering resources to execute software plan seamlessly across different teams.

Qualifications:

Description:
In this position, you will be working on telephony development inside Linux Android/application framework and/or WinCE systems on Marvell's ARM based silicons. You will be responsible for the development specifications (example, High Level Design HLD, Low Level Design LLD), telephony development, optimization and unit/stress test plans. You will work with validation team to ensure the product quality telephony with power and performance optimized. Internal and external customer support is also needed on demand.
Qualifications:
The candidate is expected to have below extra qualifications:
- Master in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science major or with relevant experience.
- Telephony/Telecom knowledge and hands-on experiences
- Strong programming and debugging skills in C/C++
- ARM or embedded experiences is a plus
