具体要求如下:
Position Description: Software Quality Assurance Manager
Objective: To lead and manage a team of software quality assurance analysts through all testing cycles and QA activities contributing to the delivery of software products that meets established or defined quality and performance standards
Location: Chengdu High-tech Software Park, China
Reports To: Product Development Manager, China
Works With: Local and Global QA teams, other Functional departments within Global Product Development and other departments within the business entity
Key Responsibilities:
QA Processes and Policies
· To uphold and maintain globally agreed upon QA Processes and Policies.
· To ensure that QA team members abide to the QA Processes & Policies in their daily work.
· To constantly seek improvement to these processes and policies, and also participate in initiatives that contributes to performance effectiveness and efficiencies.
Resource Management
· Work closely with Product Development Manager to ensure local QA resources usage is at an optimum level.
· To provide support and coordination of local QA resources for global initiatives.
· To communicate and liaise with other global QA Managers in planning and executing QA resource allocation for global initiatives.
· To communicate and liaise with other Functional Managers and with the business people on matters relating to the QA of products.
Team Management and Development
· To lead and manage the QA team to meet the above stated objectives.
· To plan, schedule and assign work to QA team, and monitor progress and to take corrective measure if necessary to meet agreed upon timeline, established quality standards and expectations.
· Organize and facilitate regular progress meeting for work assigned to the team.
· Provide mentorship and guidance to the team.
· Work closely with Product Development Manager to plan, execute and monitor team member’s career development and progress. This includes developing team member’s career plan and identifying training needs.
· To plan and implement initiatives to ensure staff continuous development, both personally and professionally – that is in accordance to the above staff career plan.
· To promote and contribute to a culture that, embodies MYOB’s Values and facilitates dynamic team development.
Others
· Respond to both internal and external customers in a timely and effective manner on work related matters.
· Communicate work progress and all (work related) pertinent information in an accurate and timely manner to the Product Development Manager.
· Work closely with Design to provide feedback on design specifications and to resolve any issues that arise.
· Work closely with Development to provide feedback on software programs and to resolve any issues that arise.
· Work closely with Technical Communications to provide input and feedback on product documentation and to resolve any issues that arise.
· Ensure all MYOB’s Intellectual Properties (e.g. source codes, design specifications, test scripts and etc.) are secured and protected.
Key Requirements:
· Possess a Degree in Computer Science, Business Management or equivalent.
· At least 6 years of working experience in quality assurance aspect of business software development.
· Experience in supervising a QA team is essential.
· Possess working experience in developing test strategy and plan to assure products meet design specifications, usability, accuracy and performance.
· Possess strong leadership skills and result driven.
· Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Organizational and people skills.
· The ability to communicate complex or technical concepts in simple words.
· The ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
· An understanding of accounting principles.
· Experience with test automation will be a plus.
