Job Description of Configuration Management Engineer:
The primary objective of software configuration management is to establish and management the developmental configuration and control procedures for the software products. You would work closely with the project team to ensure that there is a consistent and coherent configuration management process across the whole project.

You would be involved in the:
l        Establish and manage the project leave configuration management environment
l        Work in the project team to ensure the implementation of configuration management process
l        Perform Base-lining, change control, release and delivery of the products
l        Research the best solution for the integration of development and configuration management environment
l        Involve in entire software development lifecycle, perform version control, change control, base-lining, building and release
l        Management test bed network and deploy test environment
Additional Responsibility:
l        Execute Validation and Verification testing if necessary
l        Design automated test script if necessary

Qualifications preferred:
Bachelor degree in a computing, science or engineering subject.
Skills/Experience required:
‧       2+ years experience in software Configuration Management,
‧       Experience in scripting languages, software integration and release, build tools,
‧       A keen problem-solver with a proactive, team-oriented approach.
Desired skills:
‧       Familiar with Configuration management tools, such as CVS, VSS etc.
‧       Knowledge of Unix, Linux, Java, C skills.
‧       Familiarity with Configuration Management process;
Personal Qualities:
‧       Excellent inter-personal and communications skills.
‧       logic and reaction thinking
‧       good command in English
