Job Description
Main Purpose of the Role and Key Responsibilities: We are looking for a SW Test engineer/Specialist to support local programs with Operational & Maintenance (O&M) SW development. The key responsibilities include:
-Participating the system design and contribute from testing point of view
-Making the test plan
-Implementation of the test cases including test automation scripts/macros
-Executing the test cases and reporting bugs
-Communication with the SW engineers and supporting them
-Continuous development of testing process and tools
In your role you will work in close co-operation with local (TD-LTE) program people and with O&M SW organization people in Oulu and Wroclaw.
Requirements: - M.Sc.or B.Sc.degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or equivalent
- Experience in C++, Object Oriented Design and Programming
- Experience in embedded SW testing in HW/host environment
- Experience on test & debugging tools
- Experience in Linux
- Knowledge of telecommunication system (WCDMA/LTE)
- Good knowledge about SW testing methods and importance of testing in the process
- Test automation tools usage/development experience is preferred
- Basic programming skills with script languages (Perl, Python, XML) is plus
- Knowledge about Continuous Integration and automated test environments is plus
- Understanding agile methods is plus
