Job Title: Engineer, Integration & Verification

Job Description:
[Main purpose of the role and key responsibilities]
Are you the motivated professional in the area of SW Verification? Nokia Siemens Networks is looking for Integration and Verification Engineers to join our R&D team of Location Solution in Chengdu, China. You work in projects as part of R&D team using modern agile and iterative software development processes. Your responsibilities cover test planning, test automation development, testing and verification. Also, support for system testing may be required from time to time. Sometimes you need to use your expertise in your area in investigating and answering customer care questions. Note, that we have reserved some room for adjustments in your job profile depending on your level of expertise.

[Requirements]
- Knowledge of GSM/GPRS network.
- Knowledge of IP networking
- Knowledge of MAP/SS7, Diameter, HTTP and TCP/IP protocols.
- Solid Linux or other UNIX-like operating system knowledge.
Familiar with testing tools and test automation systems.
- Database (MySQL, Oracle, or other relevant DBMS) administration/tuning skills.
- Basic Java, C++, and scripting skills are appreciated.
- Previous experience in testing and verification work is definitely preferred.
- Knowledge of load balancing and high availability.
- Knowledge of Products such as HP Blades, F5 BigIP and Cisco Switches is a plus.
- Knowledge of Telecommunication international standardization, especially in Location Based services area is a plus.
- Understand SW development processes and see the importance of testing in the process.
- Get the “big picture” of things quite fast and want to understand also the surroundings of own area.

[Personal attributes]
- Academic background should be Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or Software Technology. Master’s degree in relative areas is preferred.
- Capable of learning new things quickly.
- Good written and spoken in both English and Chinese.
- Enjoy working as part of a multinational team.
- Be flexible, enthusiastic, creative and pro-active.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Be ability to work within strict deadlines and quality guidelines.
- Team player.

Experience: >3 years Education: Bachelor

Job Description
[Main purpose of the role and key responsibilities]
We are looking for motivated software development engineers to join us. Your responsibilities will cover module design, implementation and unit and functional test as well as test automation activities. You will work in projects as part of Chengdu R&D team using agile and iterative software development processes.

[Requirements]
- 3-4 years experience of Software Development experience
- Proficient in Java and J2EE programming
- Proficient in concepts of OOP, Design Patterns, UML
- Knowledge of Junit
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, network programming
- Knowledge of WAP/HTTP -Good knowledge of Media formats, codec-transcoding/optimization is preferred.
- Knowledge of streaming is preferred.
- Knowledge of AAA, Radius and Diameter is preferred.
- Knowledge in Perl/Python/bash written Linux or other UNIX-like operating system
- Knowledge in Oracle Database and Mysql
- Knowledge of Agile and iterative SW development process is a plus.
