Cloud Computing Business Development Executive
The Cloud Computing Business Development Executive is responsible for the ongoing identification development, progression and closing of cross- IBM Development and Test cloud computing opportunities. With a secondary focus on other IBM related cloud offerings like Lotus Live, Desktop cloud, storage cloud and others.
The Cloud Computing BDE's skills include the following:
–Consultative selling and solution selling competencies
–Subject Matter Expert on Cloud and deep knowledge in Development & Test Cloud solutions
–Deep knowledge of IBM offerings & competitive landscape
–Strong foundation in Virtualization and Service Management (Dynamic Infrastructure)
–Solid understanding of IBM Cloud architecture and management platform
–Ability to develop & build Development and Test solutions with IBM cloud offerings (x-brand)
–Strong Operational background / experience in Development / Test / Compute (infrastructure)
Complex opportunity selling of Development and Test Cloud Solutions
–Ability to use a consultative approach to determine where Development and Test Cloud computing should be implemented, how it can be implemented and where it should be implemented first
–Ability to present IBM cloud strategy and solutions to business and IT executives
–Ability to drive IT architectural discussions (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS)
–Ability to apply knowledge of workload based scenarios to help guide the client on when and how they should consider using Development and Test Cloud
–Consultative services selling experience, including financial, business and industry insight skills
–Ability to take a leadership role in certain client scenarios
–Strong problem solving skills
–Ability to identify right opportunities to pursue, build solution across multiple brands, qualify and engage appropriate IBM resources
Sales leadership
–Proven ability to drive opportunities to closure
–Conduct effective client calls, demonstrate negotiation skills
–Experienced in long term opportunity development and progression
–Credibility with management team, account teams and brands
–Knowledge of IBM resources and how to leverage to get things done
–Strong teamwork that results in positive influence on driving projects and complex opportunities to closure
–Drive region-wide programs & initiatives. Assist in building Business Partner Plan for their geography
Mentor / enable sellers and Business Partners

Required Skills
* Strong IT industry experiences and broad knowledge on IT infrastructure, 8+ years related working experience is a must
* Be familiar with IT infrastructure and have Solution Architect related experience.
* Passion for learning and innovation
* Passionate presentation and communication skills
* CIO /IT Director level understanding of Solution Architect and/or IT infrastructure in application
* Ability to quickly grasp strategic customer/partner business objectives and develop the vision, solution and execution plans to address these objectives
* Project /or People management experience is preferred.
