Position: Principal Test Process Engineer
Reports to: Software Process Manager.
If the candidate can show a strong capability of people and test management, we can offer a team manager position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or any related fields.
-At least 4 years of hands-on software test experience.
-At least 1 year of management experience of test or development team.
-Strong knowledge of software development life cycles and software test methodologies / techniques. Development of software test processes is highly appreciated.
-Experience of different types of test, e.g., functional, regression, stability, performance, etc. Experience of software peer review is a plus.
-Experience in delivering training.
-Strong leadership, facilitation, interpersonal and communication skills.
-Network performance testing experience is an advantage.
-Experience working in an organization practicing 6 Sigma, Agile or CMMI® is an advantage.
-spoken and written English is mandatory. Good spoken Mandarin is an asset.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Manage the software test processes and tools (test management, defect management and performance test) to be used in the whole organization.
-Manage peer review processes and tools to be used in the whole organization.
-Manage Defect Prevention programme in Beijing.
-Provide technical consultancy to the test teams in test techniques, tools and management. Deploy the best practices and solutions to test teams.
-Manage the QA community and build test staff’s competency by organize and deliver trainings in software test methodologies and process tools.
-Liaison with global and regional QA teams.
