This person will function as a software developer as part of a team that will integrate EMC clustering technologies with advanced Microsoft Windows software offerings.  Working with established prototypes the developer will create formal designs, develop to a well defined software specification, and generate appropriate documentation for new software offerings in the Windows HA space.  The candidate must have strong presentation and communication skills to be used in presenting designs and alternatives to a geographically disperse team.  Debugging and failure analysis are a must for the successful candidate.  In addition, the candidate should exhibit self sufficiency, high levels of motivation, and the ability to quickly and thoroughly learn new and complex topics.

Education/ Experience:
•        BS/MS in CS or equivalent.
•        5 years experience with hands-on Software Engineering
•        Extensive knowledge of Windows x86 and x64 programming strategies and Win32 APIs
•        Strong knowledge in C, C# and OO development
•        Strong knowledge of in one or more areas of Oracle APIs, SQL APIs, Exchange APIs
•        In-depth knowledge of programming methodologies and data structures
•        Familiarity with standard debug tools (such as windbg)
•        Excellent analysis and problem solving skills are required.
•        Desired knowledge and experience working with networking APIs
•        Desired knowledge and experience working with Clariion and Symmetrix technologies
•        Desired knowledge and experience working with Solution Enabler APIs and CLIs
•        Detail-oriented, organized, and ability to prioritize
•        Experience writing detailed technical documents
•        Ability to work with minimal direct guidance, self-motivated and proactive
•        Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
