Manage test project by working closely with the project/application team, and understand project requirements
·
Prepare Master Test strategy, Estimations, Costs and Schedule. Ensure the test is defined and estimated at a optimum level to meet required quality and time to market
·
Track project financials, progress and take corrective actions proactively
·
Prepare technical test plan, test schedule, manage day-to-day test activities, delegation to test engineers, and ensure work done according to schedule
·
Accountable for assigned project deliverables, including test reporting (test statistics, measurement, etc) to the reporting manager when required
·
Identify the nature of the technical upgrade and strategise infrastructure testing along with impacted application testing
·
Work with GISD and Technology offices to strategise/plan the impact account of the infrastructure upgrade.
·
Responsible for extending the governance for all the other testing phases of the projects like CIT/System testing/UAT/OAT
·
Plan and co-ordinate TAIT and OAT tests.
·
Identify Test environment requirements and liaise appropriate team(s)
·
Create the required environment; and organize and facilitate system walk through and business and technical overviews
·
Write accurate defect reports, facilitate problem resolution, and verify fixes
·
Conduct reviews and inspections of project deliverables and provide feedback
·
Communicate and follow-up with other application teams to track deliverable during test planning and execution phases where applicable
·
Ensure the quality and timeliness of delivery of testing assignments
·
Minimize the risk of production systems failure by pre-testing the intended functionality and integration of new systems and system changes
·
Track all aspects of the project – scope, schedule, effort, staff, risks, issues etc. Identify corrective and preventive actions Re-plan in case of deviation.

Ensure overall process adherence on organization wide guidelines for delivery, operations and quality.

Responsible
for resource management activities within the projects and ensure effective utilization

Assess risk and provide advice regarding the readiness of a system or component to be released for production

Meeting entry and exit criteria reviews.

Identify and implement Risk based testing as a technique for effective testing of platform upgrades.

8-12 years of test management experience

At least 5 years experience of independently managing test projects
