Senior Software TEST engineer /Test Lead / Senior Test Lead

We are looking for a motivated and experienced test lead (senior or level II) for our Asia Experiences team, working on developing and shipping the most favorite search services for the Asia markets with focuses on user experience, quality of service, partnership and many other aspects of A search product services. You will have the opportunity to lead in the following areas:
• Understand and articulate the needs and requirements of A search product users and partners in the Asia markets and contribute to the product roadmap and strategy for A search product in Asia
• Ensure the performance and availability of A search product services in the Asia markets
• Drive the engineering rhythm and process of the team from planning, resource allocation, design, coding, deployment, and support of A search product in the Asia markets
• Drive engineering excellence and deliver product with uncompromising quality on schedule
• Recruit, develop, and grow a team of talented SDETs
• Optimize team effectiveness with cross feature team and cross discipline collaborations
• Work closely with research teams to rapidly transfer innovative technology to A search product
This role also provides an exciting opportunity to drive deeper customer and partner engagement and satisfaction for A search product users and industry partners in the Asia markets. Qualifications:
As a test lead, you will be working with PM and Dev teams during planning, design and execution phases to make sure we deliver high quality features for A search product services. You must feel comfortable working within a fast moving research and development team. You should have strong passion for delivering quality products to improve people’s life. You need to be able to independently plan and coordinate testing effort with the engineering team on multiple concurrent releases. Meanwhile, you will also manage a team of strong SDETs and help them advance in their career.
You are expected to have at least 5 years working experience in software developing and testing with one year of people management experience preferred. You must be good at C/C++/C# coding, excellent in problem solving, have good sense of software product quality and test workflow. Strong communication skills in both Chinese and English are required. Experience in large-scale online services engineering and/or operation would be a great plus but not a must.

Requirements：
• Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field.
• 4 or more years of proven experience working on developing or testing commercial software or working on mature automation system
• Demonstrated proficiency in designing and developing automation systems or other complex systems
• Strong technical capabilities with solid coding skills in ActionScript or another OOP language such as Java or C#.
• Experience in test automation.
• Strong passion for and commitment to software quality
• A deep understanding of quality assurance processes and software development lifecycles
• Ability to analyze, isolate and document complex technical issues.
• Ability to achieve results with little supervision or direction.
• Flexibility to move between tasks.
• Web design experience. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML, SQL and server-side scripting languages.
• Ability to avoid distractions and deliver against deadlines.
• Able to act as an advocate for both internal and external customers to ensure we successfully deliver on the requirements and expectations.

Desired Technical Skills:
- Solid knowledge of testing methodology;
- Solid knowledge of Globalization and World-Readiness;
- Advanced knowledge in automation testing and development;
- Advanced knowledge of one of OS, e.g. Windows, Mac, Unix and Linux;
- Advanced knowledge of one of application servers, e.g. JBoss, Weblogic, Websphere;
- Advanced knowledge of one of database development, e.g. MS SQL server, Oracle, My SQL;
- Experience with programming at least one of the OOP languages, e.g. Java or C++;
- Experience in using one of the Adobe products, e.g. Acrobat, Photoshop, Flex, Flash;
- Demonstrated knowledge and background in all aspects of the software development process, including engineering, quality assurance, documentation, internationalization, and localization
- Able to grasp the scope of decisions and their impact on internationalization and localization
- Expert at setting realistic time goals for deliverables
Desired Non-Technical Skills:
