Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Uses QTP, AutoMate, Load Runner, SQL, Shell Programming, UNIX Utilities, PERL, HTML, DHTML, JAVA, XML, ASP and Source Code control system.
- Works with the development team during the development process to develop testing methodology for software operating in multi-platform environment.
- Develops, publishes, and implements test plans/test cases with Group Leader/Supervisor.
- Receive/record results of testing to maintain and publish defects/issues for the business, development, product and customer support teams.
- Integrate quality control procedures with earlier stages of development cycle (functional specifications, software design, coding and unit testing).
- Implement "best practices" to improve existing software development life cycle procedures.
- Must have a good working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies.
- A working background in database application programming, web technologies and performance testing techniques is very highly preferred.
- Familiarity with Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows NT, UNIX and/or Solaris environments required.
- Works under general supervision; typically reports to a group leader/supervisor. Qualification:

Required Skills:
- 3+ years experience coding/creating automation and performance scripts, developing test cases, defect reporting/management, shell, SQL and other automation scripts/tools.
- Working experience with database programming, writing SQL, Shell Programming, UNIX Utilities, HTML, DHTML, ASP, automation & performance scripting and Source Code control system.
- Good command on English Language

Desired Skills:
Network topologies, PERL, Java, Javascript, HP QC/Test Director, Silk Performer, Silk Test, etc.

To summarize;
* 3-4 years testing experience including coding experiences;
* Automation testing experiences highly preferred, test tools like QTP, Silk Performer/test, Perl, etc;
* Good communication, especially English writing and speaking
