Location:          Shanghai, China



Responsibilities:

·                         Drive and lead on projects through test design and execution for online game platform and community features

·                         Ensure complete coverage of project testing and regressions required to support a weekly release of an online gaming website.

·                         Attend design reviews, creating and reviewing test plans, and ensuring that appropriate testing efforts are applied to new games and features.

·                         Document defects using a bug tracking database, performing verifications on fixes in multiple environments. Clearly documenting and/or communicating fix success, failures, and status updates, as appropriate.

·                         Support the deployment of code to the test environments and diagnosing problems from client and server logs.

·                         Live support of an online games service

Requirements:

·                         Fluent in English

·                         Knowledge of full life cycle software development process and software testing methodology.

·                         Possesses a strong familiarity with standard design and functionality of web sites and web applications

·                         Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential and innovative thinking

·                         Good experience on debugging and analyst

·                         Self motivation and team player

·                         Formal software test experience in full life cycle development

·                         Experience creating full life cycle test plans

·                         Able to train team members, give technical advice and direction, and provide hands-on management.

·                         Knowledge of various testing techniques and approaches.

·                          At least 3 years experience QA for a web site

Desirable Skills:

·                         Strong experience with automation testing, load testing, white box testing or Linux system administrator

·         Cross platform scripting experience is preferred

·                         Knowledge of Perforce, SQL, Java and C/S systems, with some programming experience in one of more of these areas

·         BS in Computer Science or related field
