Overall Job Purpose
Responsible for designing and developing executable test cases/ scenario for verification of applications.
Key Accountabilities & approximate time split (%)
(Ideally 4-10 points, or headings with sub-points. Quantify where possible e.g. cost/income budget, no of subordinates, likely no of yrs/mths to complete longest task. Could note key external/internal lateral relationships)
Strategic Planning (20%)
Define and maintain a risk based testing framework
Determine test scope and coverage based on functions delivered
Review test execution progress and identify opportunities for improvement

Analytical & Strategy Support (50%)
Design test cases to verify delivered functions
Manage test case development
Build a centrally managed test artifacts repository for certifying of products

Partnership (30%)
Supervise and Train testers on test execution procedures
Manage test execution through 3rd ** service vendors
Manage Software Configuration Management operations

Person Specification
(Personal attributes essential to performing role: e.g. skills, competencies, expertise, knowledge, experience. Note: experience not to be time-bound) 
Good domain knowledge with in Software Testing is essential
Good understanding of all testing disciplines (i.e. Unit, SIT, UAT, Automated, Performance, etc)
Experience with Project Leading essential
Objective, rational and multidisciplinary thinking, with a strong motivation to extend knowledge to related disciplines
Strong communication and writing skills
Strong English skill
Strong analytical and process reengineering skills
