Job Description:
Trend Micro, a global leader in network antivirus and Internet content security software and services, is currently seeking a manager to lead the User Experience Group in Nanjing, China. This group supports product development at all levels, including interaction/UI design, graphic design, user research and usability, as well as technical documentation. The manager will set goals and measure the success of the Nanjing team. This qualified candidate will also manage, guide, and mentor the team members—enabling them to produce world-class products and services and provide our customers with the best user experience.
Requirements:
· At least two years experience managing a user experience(UX)/design team
· At least five years of hands-on UX/design experience
· Strong leadership and people management skills
· Proven ability to mentor and develop skills in junior members.
· Strong knowledge of product development process and project management
· Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in the organization.
· Master degree or higher in design, HCI, social sciences or related fields, or related experience.
· Ability to speak Mandarin is a big plus.
7. Senior Technical Support Specialist
Responsibility:
· Deliver high quality solutions to customers quickly, courteously and cost-effectively
· Provide the highest level of technical support to our customers through technical expertise
· Provide advanced Technical Support to customers.
· Handle cases coming from Premium Enterprise Customers, Channels/Partners/Resellers as well as act as escalation point to our Level 2 support engineers.
· Work closely with software development team and Service Engineering Group in identifying and resolving the problem; effectively interact with the engineering teams to provide solutions to complex technical issues.
· Product Testing/Beta Testing
· Maintain and expand working knowledge of current Trend Micro products as well as their integration and methods of support delivery
· Email and phone support, willing to be assigned on night shifts
Requirements:
Technical Skills:
· Network Administrator/Network Engineer/System Engineer/ System Integrator/Technical Support Engineer
· Minimum two (2) Years experience as a Network Administrator; or design and implement network for companies;
· MCSE Certified for Windows NT/2000/2003 or Linux/Solaris Certified Administrator an advantage
· Working knowledge in any of the following Applications:
· Send mail, MS Exchange Server, Lotus Notes; MS Proxy, ISA, Firewalls (Checkpoint); TCP/IP, WAN, VPN
· Knowledge in FTP, HTTP and SMTP Protocol;
· Hands-on experience in Internet/Networking environment, and client/server applications
· Knowledge in Cryptography, PKI, Penetration Analysis, Information Security Planning, Security Policy Development, Intrusion Detection, Threat Analysis, Network/Internet Security;
· Certification on the following is an advantage: SCSA/SCNA, RHCE, CLA/CLP (Principal), LPIC, CCNA, CCNP;
· Security Certification is a plus (ex. CISSP, SANs, GIAC, ICSA, etc).
· Help Desk / Support Experience is an advantage

8. Technical Writer
Responsibility:
· Deliver high quality documentation efforts on large or complex projects for enterprise and consumer antivirus software products (both online and print)
· Plan, develop, and review documentation sets from engineering specifications, hands-on use of interim software builds, research, and interviews with subject matter experts
· Contribute to user interface designs and overall product quality through editor reviews and collaboration with other departments
· Define and deploy team standards, quality goals, and improvement activities
· Act as project technical editor in reviews and approvals of documentation against team and company goals
Requirements:
· Minimum BS/BA with two years professional technical writing and editing experience. Additional experience may substitute for a degree
· Able to plan and generate a major documentation for software products
· Advanced knowledge of writing techniques and tools such as FrameMaker, RoboHELP, and HTML editors
· Knowledge of networking, security, messaging, and multiple operating system environments
· Excellent cross-department communication skills with impeccable written English
· Ability to adapt quickly to change and work successfully in an evolving and culturally diverse environment
· Ability to locate in Nanjing, China for a minimum 2-year period
· Conversational Mandarin Chinese a plus
