General Description of this Position:
Wind River Systems ChengDu R&D Center has a great opportunity for vxworks certified platform test engineers.
This position will be responsible for leading a test team delivering certified products meeting with both test schedule and quality criteria.

Job Descriptions:
Create testing strategies based on product requirements and customer commitments
Test Planning and Quality Risks Analysis; Assess and mitigate project risks; Respond quickly to program issues and reprioritize work as appropriate
Test Task Assignments & Tracking; Lead the test team delivering test efforts meeting with both schedule & quality criteria
Provide technical leadership
Design/develop/port/configure and execute VxWorks  on an embedded target
Design/Develop/Execute automated tests
Be able to work closely with related North American teams

Requirements:
5+ years of experience in software R&D
2 years of experience in leading a test team delivering products on time and with high quality
Experience in test planning, test processes, test development and test execution
Solid C programming skills in Unix environment or VxWorks platform
Background in embedded systems
Good communication skills in both English and Chinese
Strong trouble shooting skills

Desired Skills:
Familiar with scripting languages (Tcl, Perl or Shell)
Experience on test automation framework
Experience in Unix administration
Solid understanding  of TCP/IP protocols, network socket programming
Familiar with DO-178B/IEC-61508 or related certification standards

This position will be responsible for the testing and certification work of the specific VxWorks versions (Safety Critical).
