VMkernel QA Manager (Beijing)

Responsibilities:

• QA Manager will be responsible for managing a growing, high-producing team of QA Engineers, responsible for the functional verification testing for VMware ESX Server Storage and Network Testing and Test Automation
• The job will focus heavily on driving and coaching the Storage and Network QA team
• Hands-on, technical involvement is necessary for the leader of this group to determine innovative and effective testing to ensure fast time delivery with industry-leading product quality

Requirements:

•Minimum 2 years management experiences in storage or network QA area

•Ideal candidate has experience in building teams locally or/and remotely

•Solid knowledge on x86 architecture, Windows and Linux OSes & internals (Solaris and Mac OS x are a plus)

•Experiences in Device Drivers, Storage and Networking areas

•Diagnostic tools development and/or use is a plus

•In-depth understanding of QA processes and procedures

•Ideal candidate has strong communication skills and experiences interacting with other teams throughout product life cycles
