1.JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary of Primary Role:
The QA Analyst on the project is responsible for designing and executing test plans and test cases and also set up the QA environment depends upon the project to perform QA testing.

QA Analyst reviews the software specification that is created by the Business Analyst and/or component manager and writes the test plan, test cases and test script.

QA Analyst performs functional testing and identifies software defect and report to QA lead for the prioritization of problem fixes.

QA Analyst communicates with US QA team member to align the QA methodology and process that defined by the QA Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
? Review the software specification document, Use Cases, User Interface Design and Technical Design
? Write the test plan and test cases that is based on the specification document
? Co-work with US QA team and align the quality level with globally
? Performs functional and integration testing and identifies software defects
? Updates the QA test results to the project stakeholders
? Track quality defects and ensure they are resolved
Skills/Qualifications
Essential Desirable
? 2 + years technical team experience in either QA or development
? Expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
? Outstanding communication skills and attention to detail
? Ability to troubleshoot software / hardware
configuration problems
? Ability to develop a clear and concise testing
strategy
? Fluent in English (business level) and Japanese (JLPT 1)
?Understanding QA methodology
? Strong analytical skill ? BS in Computer Science or equivalent
? Financial industry knowledge

2.JOB DESCRIPTION - DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will support the production of qualify software through the proper utilization of strong industry techniques. The target environment of the applications to be tested will be the core Reuters data centres.
Duties will include:
• Analyze requirements and functional specifications to produce Test Strategy, Unit Test Specifications, System Test Specification, Integration test specifications (in English)
• Execution of test scenarios on Windows platforms
• Development of Automation test environment to improve efficiency of test execution
• Setup and maintain the test environment to facilitate the test case execution
• Report and track the defects status, verify the solution of bug-fix
• Generate test report and analyze the defects post test
• Improve the test process, test methods and test tools internally
• Create release document / package and manage the release.
• Communication with technical data centre for the implementation.
Qualifications
JOB SPECIFICATIONS - REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer science or related.
• Minimum 2 years work experience as a test engineer.
• Strong sense of responsibility and ethics
• Working knowledge of test technology, test tools and test process
• Self-starter, quick learner and team player
• Excellent English - verbal, written and presentation skills
• Highly developed interpersonal skills
• Good timekeeping. Ability to work effectively on several projects simultaneously.
• Good attention to detail and very careful for the deliveries. Ability to work under pressure.
• ISQTB or equivalent certification - preferably at a senior level.
• Experience in a market-data environment a plus!
• Proven track record as a team player
• Knowledge of risk assessment techniques.
• Working knowledge of financial markets.
• Familiarity with Automation test software. Experience in writing automated scripts/code for executing an automation environment is a plus.
• Familiar with C++/C# is a plus.
