Beijing Positions

1.        Position: CDMA Developer (BJ-LD-1137)

RESPONSIBILITIES
Contributing to mobility products evolution and development strategy
Software design and implementation for CDMA related features
  
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor degree or above in Telecommunication, EE, Computer or related areas
Familiar with software development and testing with C/C++, Unix/Linux.
Knowledge and experience of wireless network, knowledge on CDMA base station and Lucent base station product is preferred
Good understanding of large scale software development cycle and process
Highly self-motivated and able to work effectively under pressure
Be flexible on work-time during load delivery
Strong communication skill in English
Good teamwork

2. Position: Testing Engineer for CDMA system(BJ-LT-1138)

RESPONSIBILITIES
Contributing to mobility products evolution and development strategy
Test Environment Set up and Integration Test for CDMA related features

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor degree or above in Telecommunication, EE, Computer or related areas
Familiar with software testing in VxWorks/Unix/Linux environment.
Knowledge and experience of wireless network, knowledge on CDMA base station and Lucent base station product is preferred
Good understanding of large scale software development cycle and process
Highly self-motivated and able to work effectively under pressure
Be flexible on work-time during load delivery
Strong communication skill in English
Good teamwork


3.  Position: System Testing Engineer for oil filed service(BJ-BT-1139)
Responsibility:
Analyze requirements and workflows, write test cases, execute tests, track defects, produce reports.

Requirement:
Two to Three years of experience as a functional tester.
Familiar with window technologies.
Solid understanding of testing processes and testing methodologies; particularly black box.

4. Position: VC/VB Developer(BJ-BD-1140)
Responsibility:
Sustain legacy project and implement new features when requests comes.
Help to answer and resolve problems of client user in time.

Requirement:
Over 3 years programming experience.
Familiar with OO and design patterns.
BS/MS in computer science or a closely related field.
Strong VC++ programming and debugging skills.
VB programming is a strong plus.
Solid knowledge of COM / COM+ / ATL.
Good communication skills and fluent English expression.
Experience in Java or C# is a plus

5.  Position: C# Developer(BJ-BD-1141)
  Responsibility:
Responsible for the design and implementation of specific tasks defined by the project manager.
Investigate cutting edge technology to support unique (for Slb) requests.

Requirement:
Experience in .Net/C# - OOD - Component architecture
Written English important as documents will have to be generated
Knowledge of M$CAB would be a plus
Fundamental Physics knowledge
Experience in deployment, licensing, authoring and code security and data modeling is a plus

6. Server UI Software Engineers(BJ-QD-1142)
Skills/Experience:
•        More than 4 years of experience developing server front-end UI software in PHP/Javascript/HTML/XHTML/Ajax
•        Must be technically very strong with one of the following scripting languages: PHP or Perl.
•        Must be technically very strong with Javascript
•        Must be familiar with C, and C++
•        Database experience with Oracle such as OCI is a plus
•        Advanced knowledge in database such as understanding of SQL queries and relational database
•        Must have sufficient English communication skills (both verbal and written) to communicate with teams oversea (via conference call, email, instant messaging, ...etc)
Education Requirements:
•        Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science. Master degree in Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science preferred
7. Test Engineer(BJ-QT-1143)
Skills/Experience:
•        Candidates for this position must posses good overall knowledge of wireless digital communications systems and CDMA 1X/EVDO/IS95 and preferably in WCDMA/UMTS, GSM and GPRS physical layer protocols and standards
•        Experience in System-level, User-Interface-level functional-level, and performance-level tests for web-based server is a must
•        Strong network optimization and test experience are required to fulfill these job responsibilities
•        Execute voice, data, UI and new feature testing with data collection SW parsing & analysis tools
•        Extensive field and lab tests would be required to fully test and validate the test tools
•        Experience in PHP, Javascript, HTML, XHTML, Ajax, Perl, C/C++, etc
•        Experience in SW performance and stability test of voice and data handheld devices based on CDMA and UMTS technologies would be a plus
•        Should be familiar with CDMA, UMTS standards, HTTP, and TCP/IP
•        Hands on technical support experience
•        Prior knowledge on handset test experience would be helpful
•        3 years of industry experience
•        Knowledge on CDMA handset would be a plus
•        Good understanding of Operating Systems and multi-tasking experience
•        Must have sufficient English communication skills (both verbal and written) to communicate with teams oversea (via conference call, email, instant messaging, ...etc)

Nanjing Positions
1.        Position: Testing Engineer (NJ-LT-0001)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze requirements and write test plans, test cases and test scripts.
Set up the testing environment and execute test cases.
Maintain documentation of test results and assists in debugging.
Analyze the test results to ensure functionality and provide quality related information.
Consult with development engineers in resolution of problems.
Work with system architecture and system engineering teams in the architecture and requirement of features.
Provide technical support to marketing and engineering service teams.
Can be involved in the creation, customization or execution of automatic test configurations or simulations.

REQUIREMENTS
Experience in software development or testing. Telecommunication industry experience is desired but not required.
Knowledge of wireless system and data network (CDMA, WCDMA, TCP/IP, VOIP, SIP, SS7, MPLS). Also some knowledge about computer platforms and their operating systems would be desirable. Programming skills is plus.
Fluent written and verbal English skills
Highly self-motivated; good problem-solving skills.

2. Position: C/C++ Engineer (NJ-LD-0002)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Contributing to mobility products evolution and development strategy
Understanding and analyzing system requirements for new features of mobility products
Software design, implementation and unit testing
Subsystem level and system level testing and integration
Providing technical support to marketing and engineering service teams.
Functional Area Ownership, contributing to sub-system maintenance including providing prompt response to customer inquiry, analyzing customer site issues and delivering the fix on time, etc

REQUIREMENTS
Experience with software development and object oriented design (e.g. C/C++; OOD/P).  Knowledge with Java and Perl would be helpful
Knowledge of wireless system and data network (e.g. CDMA, WCDMA, TCP/IP). Also some knowledge about computer platforms and their operating systems would be desirable.
Development experience or familiarity with 3GPP2 IOS standard (A1,A2, A1p, A2p..) would be greatly desirable
Fluent written and verbal English skills

3.Title: Mobile Phone Software Engineer(NJ-MD-0001)
Location: NanJing

Responsibilities:
Responsible for software development on Motorola subscriber products, primarily focusing on the implementation of mobile applications, software / hardware interface, device drivers and signaling of wireless communication, etc.

Requirements:
(1) Strong C/C++ programming skills;
(2) BS or MS in Computer Science or related field of education;
(3) Minimum 2-year experience on software programming;
(4) Good problem solving and logical analysis capability;
(5) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good team player;
(6) Good read/written English skills.
(7) Quick learning   
(8) Experience in one or more of the following technical domains is preferable:
     - Mobile UI Applications under different platforms, such as BREW, Linux, WinCE
     - Wireless and Network Communication Protocols (CDMA, 3G, TCP/IP, etc.)
     - Software / Hardware interface and device drivers
     - J2ME development experience in VM, APIs, Applications, etc.
