Title: Test Automation Engineer (SILK)

Qualifications: Minimum a Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or a university with 3+ years of related/applicable experience is

--Extensive experience of building up automation framework by using SILK
--MUST have strong understanding of Windows operating systems, linux is a plus
--Is able to adapt quickly to new unfamiliar areas and new technologies.
--Proven troubleshooting and debugging skills
--Understanding of Data network protocols suite such as TCP/IP or VoIP protocols a plus
--Good understanding of the software development release lifecycle, source management, and defect management methodologies
--Experience with bug tracking systems
--Other programming experience, such as C, C++, Tcl, Perl or Java a big plus
Language:
--Good English communication ability, both in written and spoken
-- Proficient in reading English technical documents, such as protocol spec and design documents.
-- Proficient in writing technical materials (emails & documents…) in English.

Responsibilities
1. Should provide a practical approach to complex product testing, specifically in the areas of the automation of test cases for the purposes of GUI regression testing
2. Build up the test suite by using SILK and analyzing the results of the automated tests cases
3. Should be part of a team focusing on automation of an identified set of feature tests, checking they run correctly and working within the infrastructure.
4. Should ensure quality releases of the software through effective planning, design and automate manual test cases, and maintenance of automation infrastructures
5. This individual will develop complete test documentation , including bug reports and final test reports for associated test suite
6. S/he will interface with the US and China testing teams to assist in bug prioritization and may work with developers in the US to investigate anomalies and help find solutions

Education: Minimum a BS degree in Computer Engineering /Science or relevant field
Experience: required with a minimum of 3 year of related/applicable experience.
Skills (Hardware, Software, Machine operations, etc.):
--Experience and solid knowledge of SILK
--Experience of other Automation language/Tool,such as Tcl,Perl /Win-Runner etc will be very helpful
--Familiar with other programming language like C,C++ is a plus
--Knowledge of Data base, such as MySql
--Development Environment: Windows ,Linux
--Other: concept of XML
