Test Engineer, Senior (MCAD- Manufacturing/Mold)

Strong background in Manufacturing/Mold Software applications: Pro/NC, Pro/Mold, Pro/Toolmaker Proffered.

Develops, publishes, and implements test plans. Identifies and tracks software defects through resolution.
Writes and maintains test automation scripts.
Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of quality assurance tasks
Follows disciplined software quality assurance practices.
Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the software quality assurance field.
Typically requires 5-7 years quality assurance experience in a software development environment or related field and up to 2 years of experience in previous role.
Provides mentoring to junior team members
Works independently without daily supervision
Demonstrates expert-level product and technical knowledge
Efficiently troubleshoots problems and drives to resolution.
Offers creative and innovative input to management

The position is organization structure dependent and linked to ownership of a functional area. Has ability to manage a small project or test effort – possibly offering guidance to peers. Typically reports to a Group Lead or Section Manager/Manager.

Job Requirement:

1)     Background in manufacturing press tools, skin panel dies, progressive dies, pressure die casting dies & plastic molds.
2)     Knowledge of Generating Tool paths for complex 3D&2D jobs of Die casting Dies, Press Tools and molds
3)     Part programming and NC Programming creation with knowledge of 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC machining.
4)     Operation on C.N.C. Machine
5)     Preparing Models for manufacturing and preparing drawings.
6)    Understand strategy of machining steps in relation to the process and quality required, with least number of settings and tooling in correspondence with shop floor.

Software Knowledge:

Preferred knowledge of one or more of the following packages:

1) PRO/NC, Pro/MOLD, Pro/CMM
2) Pro/Toolmaker, DEPOCAM
3) DELCAM
4) MASTERCAM
5) POWERSHAPE - Modeling (CAD)
6) POWERMILL - Tool Path Generation (CAM)
7) Unigraphics
8) SOLID WORKS


English Fluency:

1)  Writing: Professional level of English writing skills
2)  Listening and Speaking: Moderate to good level of communication in English.
