Within LS&M there is a new organization called Defect Management Office – DMO
This group of 10 people will be hosted by GTCC and they will have a manager (the one below)
- Manages and develops a team of engineers based primarily in Beijing, China
- Responsible for the qualification and priortisation of customer issues toward development
- Responsible for rapidly and accurately converting all customer issues into actionable development errands
- Identifies, prioritises and expedites all customer critical issues toward the open platform; coordinates all priortisation at the direction of the Head of Customer Issue Priortisation
- Responsible for the status of all critical issues in each stage of the defect management process
Qualifications:
- Engineering Degree
- Prior Line Management experience required
- Prior experience working with customers from both a technical and commercial perspective highly preferred
- Financial and risk management experience highly preferred
- Prior project management experience highly preferred
- Ability to manage multiple functional areas
- Strong process orientation
- Strong results orientation
- Strong customer orientation
- Proven track-record establishing new ways of working, delivering results and making significant improvements in ongoing operations
