Description •
The person in this role will be working with a team of developers to extend and enhance the test suite for an automated Cloud verification framework. The role covers, designing, creating and implementing test cases used to verify that all the components on an automated Enterprise Cloud system are correctly deployed. The testing covers front end customer facing applications and the validation of provisioned components (Servers, Firewall, Load balancer etc.). The ideal candidate will have test automation experience with different scripting and computer languages. With the ability to navigate both windows and Linux platforms.





ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



• Design the automated test solutions to meet the requirements from testing development team



• Implement assigned automated test cases with common languages, for example, JAVA, VB, Test Complete, etc. The test cases should produce automated test results.



• Maintain the automation test system and automated test cases, automation test scripts, etc.



• Design / enhance / implement a new Automatic Test (AT) framework to validate an E2E cloud system.



• Keep abreast of latest developments in test technologies, tools and processes. Identify opportunities to use these latest developments to improve AT qualities.

• Contributes to design activities; may design solutions.

• Applies in-depth or broad technical knowledge to maintain one or more technology areas

• Provides time / resource estimates for assigned tasks.




Qualifications
Education and Experience Required:
• Typically a technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 6 years related experience or a Master's degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience.


Knowledge and Skills:
• 6 years with general scripting language experience (i.e.: VBS, JAVA, Python, Power Shell) and software development languages (Java).
• Basic Understanding of RDBMS databases such SQL Server and Oracle. Basic understanding of modern software design and development methodologies (e.g., OO).
• Experience on one or more full release project life cycles.
• OS knowledge, LINUX and Windows different versions.
• Able to produce test documentation to support the automated test cases
• Familiar with API testing a plus.
• Experience in QTP; Selenium; OpenStack; STAF; Shell; PowerShell; Linux / Unix OS and Jenkins Configuration would be a plus.
• Awareness about Enterprise Cloud is a plus
• Rich experiences in software testing.
• Good English skills.
• Very good self-learning skill.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team
