Job Title: SVV Principle Engineer, Beijing/Shanghai

Description:
Be responsible for leading the technology perspective development in both depth/width in the site, to drive the deployment of key strategic improvements for 50% cycle time reduction and 35% cost saving in the STRAP period, and developing the differentiated competency, with below major responsibilities:

The candidate will support variant software Verification and validation activities of real-time embedded software in support of state-of-the-art avionics systems running in China with below responsibilities listed:
Interfacing with internal and external stakeholders and customers in technical decision making for testing approach and strategy;
Technical oversight and guidance for the test lifecycle
Support the software/system requirement design/review;
Analyze and review code to ensure that it fulfills requirements in an efficient manner;
Offer guidance on testing existing/new features and functionality;
Interface with System/SW functions and DEOS groups and test group at a minimum;
Support Flight tests, Systems level testing, Application testing, Integration testing;
Debugging and coordinating technical solutions to ensure problem resolution;

The candidate is also responsible for the CoE Strategic Initiative deployment as well as identifies areas for improvement in work group processes and drive resolutions to improve methodologies and techniques, including but not limited to:
. Deploy common organizational strategies to achieve improvements
. Identify/deploy Improvements to meet targets on programs running at the site
. Responsible for planning & assigning necessary resources for developing improvement initiatives
. Deploy organizational processes, systems and tools
. Deploy verification approach to align with certification objectives.

Additionally, the candidate is responsible for providing guidance and direction for team competency development, especially in term of mentoring and/or coaching the next level of engineers in building strong technical competency in the software testing area by working with the product technical management team, support the organizational Technical Resource Review(TRR) design and implementations.
• Bachelors and/or master Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or an equivalent discipline;
• 15+ years experience in avionics software/systems/software verification
• Strong technical skills with emphasis in the areas of software development and verification processes.
• Demonstrate flexibility to coordinate/communicate with global team members
• be highly motivated and have the ability to influence technical decisions.
• Avionics knowledge/experience, any pilot experience;.
