The SUSEQuality Assurance department has teams located in the people

republic ofChina, the Czech Republic and Germany. The QA teams work in

closecollaboration with all departments in SUSE Engineering. Together

they pursue ahigh overall quality to provide the customers with

topnotch SUSELinux products.

Responsibilities:

* Timelydefinition, documentation and implementation of test criteria in workingtogether with the SUSE engineering teams, other teams as well as Partners

* Constructand maintain automation test environments and tools on source codes

* Executionof software tests

* Developmentof test software for new technologies on demand

* Maintenanceand improvements of existing test tools

* Ongoingevaluation of new test tools

* Integrationof new test tools into existing test harnesses

RequiredSkills and qualification:

* Graduationas IT Specialist or similar qualification

* Strongprogramming skills in script languages (e.g. perl, python, shell)

* Knowledgeof C or other programming languages is a plus

* Goodknowledge of Unix and Linux operating systems

* Experiencewith debugging of systems and applications

* Experiencewith SUSE product is a plus

* Open SourceCommunity engagement is a plus

* Fluent inverbal and written English
