Processor Validation Engineer
Location: Shanghai

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- 2 years degree in IT, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Science, Math or related field is required.
- Fluent Mandarin and English (reading, writing and speaking).
- Knowledge of setting up, configuring and testing Personal Computers with various hardware/software
- OS experience in Windows and/or Linux
- Basic Experience with Networking and Server/Workstation.
- Issue Handling, Troubleshooting, and/or Debug Skills
- Self-Motivated with strong passion for learning; good teamwork skills.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES IN ADDITION TO THOSE IN JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Follows and Executes test plan accordingly; Maintains documentation of test operations and reports results to engineering.
- Build and configure test environment for testing of PC, including Hardware configuration, OS Installation and Application
- Document and characterizes defects, providing detailed configurations and descriptions for passing and failing tests for test reports.
- Interacts with engineers and technical support personnel towards the solution of complex technical problems and the fulfillment of project objectives.
- Identifies actual or potential problems in test plans or company products.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Platform/Chipset Validation Engineer
Location: Shanghai

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Have 2 years of electrical testing/HW testing or related working experience at least;
- Bachelor degree of electrical engineering/computer science/computer engineering;
- Familiar with Oscilloscope and other electrical test tools;
- Working knowledge of computer architecture and operating systems (Windows & Linux);
- Signal integrity test experience will be a plus advantage;
- Have good written and oral communication skills in both English and Chinese.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES IN ADDITION TO THOSE IN JOB DESCRIPTION:
The successful candidates will response to validate the platforms for customers and internal design teams. He/she shall perform the Hardware level test using AMD test tools, including oscilloscope, analyzer, margin test tools, functional test…etc; analyze the failures found in testing and support the customers and internal design team to find the root cause of the issues; assist validation development team in improving the validation methods and procedures.
Software QA Engineer
Location: Shanghai

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Should understand BIOS or driver testing procedures in Linux or Windows.
- Know how to use Windows and tools to isolate driver issues.
- Understand the DifX install process, inf installation.
- Understand how to use tools to isolate installation issues in Linux.
- Know how to configure the Linux kernel.
- Understand basic BIOS functions.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES IN ADDITION TO THOSE IN JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Should have experience in either BIOS or driver testing in either Linux or Windows OS.
- Testing and/or writing test plans for BIOS, Driver, or similar software test.
- Experience on x86 based systems.
- Installing and configuring Windows OS.
- Installing and configuring Linux OS.
- Installing and uninstalling drivers in Windows and Linux.
- Working with developers to isolate issues. |
