Job Title: QA Engineer

Primary Responsibilities
QA Engineer will be responsible for leading and driving quality initiatives and strategies in the Team. The QA engineer applies mastery of software engineering to design, influence and drive Quality and testability of products and services.
•       Provide quality assurance leadership throughout the software development lifecycle, influence the design and implementation by actively participating in early reviews and design discussions.
•       Passionate about building quality and testability in and works with the architects and development teams to build the same.
•       Mentors and coaches the QA Team members in quality best practices and seeks to educate and guide them.
•       Provides leadership and reaches across cross-functional teams to foster team work, understanding of tools and technologies and implementation of quality best practices.
•       Influence and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff both within and outside of the business unit/functional group.
•       Influences the automation design and ensures the application of appropriate tools and techniques.
•       Leads the effort of building an efficient and robust test framework that supports multiple applications.
•       Demonstrate creativity, innovation and enthusiastic approach to problem-solving.
•       Lead projects and participate in manual and automated testing with emphasis on white and grey box testing.
•       Provide objective evaluation of project progress, including process and product quality, throughout the software development lifecycle. Implement and leverage key metrics, and drive necessary improvements to optimize project outcomes, while engaging project team members.
Knowledge and Skills Required :

Bachelor or Master in mechanical engineering, computing engineering, electronics, with 5 + years experience of product QA/testing.
-    Knowledge of application of software development life cycle principles.
-    Be familiar with industry standard testing and QA processes and procedures, CMMI experience plus.
-    Knowledge of software engineering fundamentals and their practical application.
-    Must have hands-on experience with designing test cases, making test plans, defect management, and project management skills.
-    Experience in Test Automation including GUI and API level
-    Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, and ability to mentor teams of QA and SW engineer.
-    Must be a good team player who can manage multiple projects and work with a strong team in an extremely fast-paced setting
-    Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin,  communicate efficiently and effectively
-    Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to evaluate existing processes & strategy and propose change to improve group efficiency and standards.

Job Title:       SQA Engineer
Responsibilities:
• Work with the  team to avoid software product quality risk through on-time test design, test execution, result analysis.
• Reviewing and providing feedback of feature design with industry experience
• Use domain experience to check functionality and usability
• Depend on actual experience to identify the product performance and give advices for suitable performance requirement.
• Coordinating and helping other team members as needed.
• Collaborate with software developers, QAs and product designers in United States.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or above on Power Electric, Computer Science or equivalent
• 5+ years working experience (or 3+ working experience with Master degree) in Electric Power industry or software industry
• Working experience with at least one Microsoft operating system like XP, Win7.
• Excellent English reading, writing skills and good verbal English communication skills
• Teamwork sprint with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Work independently and requires high degree of focusing on details with patience.
• Experience in GIS, performance testing, automation testing, api testing, globalization testing would be plus.
