-           （Senior ) Software Engineer – C++,Java   

JobDescription:

·       Lead the design andimplementation of MicroStrategy software platforms, applications, and features.

·       Proactively participatein every aspect of the entire software development lifecycle of featuredevelopment, including input on specifications, designs, implementation, testdesign, test implementation, optimization, and delivery.

·       Support technicalsupport engineers with high-level and escalated customer issues.

·       Participate in peercode reviews, knowledge sharing, and SCRUM meetings.

·       Learn an array of newtechnologies and make enhancements and improvements to software products anddevelopment processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’sdegree in Computer Science or similar program; Master’s degree is preferred.

Minimum 4years of software development experience with real world knowledge of datastructures, algorithms, operation systems, and other fundamental concepts.

StrongC++ or Java skills in client or server-side development.

Familiaritywith SQL, RDBMS, JNI, JDBC or web services is a good plus.

Strongdebugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Goodcommunication in English, team-oriented individual, energetic, strong learningability, result and delivery oriented.

·       Create automation andexperiment with the latest technologies for next-generation product backends inAWS and Azure.

·       Design for quality,robustness, and performance, with common principles, patterns, and bestpractices.

·       Identify and driveopportunities for improving the MCE service and infrastructuremaintenance/management.

·       Direct support forcustomer upgrades, strategic customer escalations, and feature validation.

·       Customer escalationsresolution and preventative maintenance for lessons learned.

·       Design and runautomated tests. Continuously improve software development, building, testing,and deployment processes.

·       Collaborate with and supportother engineers within the team and from other teams in China, the UnitedStates, and Poland.

Qualifications:

·       BSc/MSc in ComputerScience, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related disciplinepreferred.

·       Strong troubleshooting,technical and analytical skills.

·       Excellent communicationand technical mentoring skills.

·       MicroStrategy Platformtroubleshooting knowledge; platform usage or administration knowledge.  

·       Previous experiencewith customers is required.

·       A Proven combination ofPython, Ansible, Jenkins, and PowerShell experience is required.

·       Experience with RedHat,Amazon Linux, and Windows is highly preferred.

·       Experience withdeployments in AWS or Azure is highly preferred.
