QA Analyst
自动化测试分析工程师
SCOPE
As a QA Analyst, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and executing manual and automated functional test cases for web applications. You will work with other QA Analysts, Business Analysts and Developers to thoroughly test new and updated functionality of our web sites and back-end applications.
The successful candidate will have a 2+ years in the QA field with a strong emphasis on web-based applications and excel in a fast paced environment where short, frequent iterations are the norm.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain test cases in a test case management system using business requirements, use cases and change requests as input
Develop and maintain automated test cases using Rational Functional Tester
Execute manual and automated functional tests
Analyze test results to identify problem areas and to ensure adequate coverage
Clearly communicate test results and errors/issues to project team
Record defects in an issue tracking system (Test Director, JIRA)
Identify, investigate, report and track defects to closure
Ensure defined software quality assurance procedures are being followed
Assist in troubleshooting reported problems
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Proven ability to build test plans and test cases from requirements, use cases and change requests
Experience writing SQL queries to find, create and update data in a multi-table Oracle databases
Experience testing web-based applications
Experience testing, developing or supporting financial systems
Experience with a test case management system is a definite asset
Experience developing automated tests using Rational Functional Tester
Experience working on Linux/Unix servers
Can build and maintain a clean, stable test environment
Has sharp eye for quality; meticulous about detail and completeness
Strong verbal and written communication skills (English), with an ability to express technical concepts
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Able to self-manage and prioritize work effectively under pressure
QTP 职位JD
Automation with QTP, Programming knowledge, will prefer if has QTP certification. C/C++/VB scripting will be +.

Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain test plans and approaches.
- Define, document, execute and track manual and automated test cases and related artifacts for smoke, integration, system, regression, load and performance testing.
- Gather and report testing metrics to the SQA, project and product management teams
- Review requirements documents to acquire domain knowledge and for early detection of functional and design defects.
- Create test input data and analyze test results.
- Actively participate in the development of feature as a member of Agile teams.
- Define, document, monitor and support the testing environments.
- document defects and spot-test system to verify corrected issues.
- Facilitate workshops, conduct interviews, perform research, and, Review & test user documentation, online help and user manuals.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- BA/BS in computer science or comparable experience
- Min. 3 years of professional experience as part of an IT organization
- Min. 3 years of experience as a SQA tester
- Min. 3 years of experience with Windows XP, HTML, SQL server and Oracle
- Thorough understanding of QA methodologies and tools, and SDLC
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute test plans for complex systems
- Advanced knowledge of SQL queries, web-based applications, GUI and regression testing
- Must have automated testing experience using industry leading tools
- Must have experience developing system requirements and conducting black-box and white-box testing
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Microsoft technologies
- experience testing CRM, e-Commerce, POS, inventory management and accounting systems is highly desired
- Expertise with Scrum/Agile is a strong plus
- Knowledge of ASP, Oracle, .NET Framework and Linux is a plus
Other Required Skills:
- Self-starter with ability to work either independently or as a team member
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- strong analytical skills
- Competent in diagnosing and troubleshooting problems in a timely manner
- ability to handle deadline pressure
