Localization Test Engineer ( KOR)
Core tasks:

Acts as quality assurance expert to maintain proper functionality of localized products. Performs specified tests in white, black and ad hoc testing scenarios. Executes localization tests, prepares and maintains a set of test machines and Operating Systems for the target language.

As member of a vertical language team, the Localization Test Engineer provides quality linguistic support to the software localization engineer. Interfaces with software development teams in addressing functional defects. Interacts with other localization testing engineers to develop and execute best practices and participate in cross-training activities.

Job Requirements:

Minimum of Business Level fluency in Target Language(Korean)

Minimum of Business Level fluency in English

Able to install and maintain localized Operating Systems

Desired Skills / Experience: (not required)

Skills in Software Testing – particularly in Localization

Understanding of Software Development lifecycle

Knowledge of Networking Infrastructure/Architecture/Protocols

Proficiency with Defect Tracking tools and Defect Lifecycle management

Defect Analysis and Troubleshooting Skills

Knowledge and Experience using Operating System Imaging tools

Ability to create Test Plans and Test Cases

Knowledge of Computer Hardware Architecture

Experience with Microsoft Operating Systems

Knowledge or Experience of Databases – SQL, Oracle

Understanding of Client/Server Architecture

Experience with Agile Development Methodologies

Industry Certifications

Macintosh / Linux Knowledge or Proficiency
