• Quality professionals are involved in requirements gathering and analysis, test planning activities, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and execution of all testing (which may include application integration, system, system/network integration, and acceptance testing) required to ensure that the software is of the highest quality.
• Completes the objectives of each assignment within agreed timeframe.
• Responsible for providing for the planning, integration, casing, scripting, and execution of all testing required of a single software change or project.
• Reviewing business requirements, and design specifications for low to moderately complex changes/systems for completeness and testability.
• Developing and maintaining test plans, test environment, test cases, test scripts and/or workflow usage, with some assistance.
• Conducting testing using company-specific, manual or automated processes.
• Executing test scripts/cases and communicating the results of testing.
• Preparing and maintaining test case documentation (which may include alignment to client configurations).
• Diagnosing and resolving technical and operational problems on installed networks, systems or products.
• Recommending improvements to the testing processes to create efficiencies.
• Coach and train the junior QA engineers.
• In the role of SQA Engineer, conduct SQA for projects.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years testing or other development experience.
• Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Experience of formal software development lifecycle.
• Reasonable knowledge on SEI CMM.
• Good awareness of customer service.
• Develops in-depth analysis, which may be technically complex, and is recognized as a specialist on specific topics.

• Technically-inclined, analytical, meticulous and attentive to details.
• A proactive team player with the ability to work in dynamic environments.

• Willing to work late for teleconference with overseas developers occasionally, to provide technical support over telephone to assist first and second level support, round the clock.
• Have good interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels and comfortable in cross-cultural environment.
