We are establishing a China R & D Center located in Zhangjiang High Tech Park in Shanghai. The R&D Center has two major divisions: Development and Testing. For the Testing division, the size is about 40 people. We currently have openings in the Software Testing division. Please see job descriptions below for details.

Please note: At the R&D Center we have employees from many countries. Our working language is English. All engineers need to communicate with engineers/PMs in the USA on a daily basis. So we have very high requirement for English, especially spoken and listening. There will be 3 rounds of interviews, all will be conducted in English.


Position #1: Software Quality Engineer
Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute test cases
2. Work with test leads in USA to meet Testing requirements
3. Identify defects and work with developers to ensure resolution of defects
4. Maintain software testing lab

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science or Engineering, or proven industry experience with testing
2. Good familiarity with Windows-based computer software and hardware
3. Must have good written and spoken English; all business will be conducted in English including frequent communication with USA staff
4. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
5. Previous experience in a manufacturing, petroleum or chemical plant environment a plus, computer programming experience a plus

Position #2: Intermediate Software Quality Engineer
Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute test cases
2. Work with test leads in USA to meet Testing requirements
3. Identify defects and work with developers to ensure resolution of defects

Requirements:

1. Minimum 2 years experience with software testing
2. Experience working with complex software packages (preferable engineering or scientific software)
3. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or proven industry experience with testing
4. Must have good written and spoken English; all business will be conducted in English including frequent communication with USA staff
5. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
6. Understanding of software testing standards, methods and conventions
7. Previous experience in a manufacturing, petroleum or chemical plant environment a plus,computer programming experience a plus

Position #3: Senior Software Quality Engineer
Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute test cases
2. Work with test leads in USA to meet Testing requirements
3. Identify defects and work with developers to ensure resolution of defects

Requirements:

1. Minimum 3-4 years experience with software testing
2. Experience working with complex software packages (preferable engineering or scientific software)
3. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or proven industry experience with testing
4. Must have good written and spoken English; all business will be conducted in English including frequent communication with USA staff
5. Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and leadership skills
6. Understanding of software testing standards, methods and conventions
7. Previous experience in a manufacturing, petroleum or chemical plant environment a plus, computer programming experience a plus

Position #4: Software Quality Engineering Lead
Responsibilities:

1. Lead software testing group
2. Set standards for test case creation, maintenance, and execution
3. Prioritize workload to meet schedule requirements
4. Work with test leads in USA to meet Testing requirements
5. Coordinate working with the developers to ensure resolution of defects

Requirements:

1. Experience leading Software Testing Group
2. Minimum 6 years experience with software testing
3. Experience working with complex software packages (preferable engineering or scientific software)
4. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or proven industry experience with testing through multiple software product development cycles
5. Must have good written and spoken English; all business will be conducted in English including frequent communication with USA staff
6. Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and leadership skills
7. Understanding of software testing standards, methods and conventions
8. Minimal travel to North America may be required
9. Previous experience in a manufacturing, petroleum or chemical plant environment a plus, computer programming experience a plus

    这家公司是中小型的Nasdaq上市企业,专做过程控制软件的,一上来会与你说英语,不看专业问题.建议自动化背景,过程控制的,可以去试试.

    补充一些信息: 我们共有4类职位: 初级软件测试工程师, 中级, 高级, 和团队负责人。 我们的面试共3轮(初级一般只需要2轮)。 第一轮面试我们会用中文简单的了解情况, 然后是英文。 第二三轮面试全是英文(由美国同事进行)。计算机或化工相关专业会有帮助, 但是我们更看重的是你解决问题的能力和你的工作经验。我们对英语听说的要求很高, 3轮面试需要基本上没有交流的问题(换句话说,可以不需要别人重复的自由交流), 因为研发中心的员工来自于很多国家, 工作语言是英语。 我们不看重你的英语证书, 拿到专业8级证书可是不能交流也没用。我们初级工程师的起薪是6千每月。


    PS: 斑竹, 年营业额20多亿还算中小型公司? 去年8月AspenTech刚了结了美国司法部的反垄断诉讼。 我们占了全球EOM市场的70%。

    不过,上次我与他们分公司经理谈的不是很投机来.主要是我在上班,说话不方便.不知道机会还有吗??

    谈一点面经,或许对后来申请的朋友有用,呵呵

    我接受了ASPEN TECH的电话面试,面试效果不是很好,主要是自己的英语口语听力还不到位,呵呵。所以,建议如果还有朋友申请这个公司的话,好好强化自己的英语口语和听力。另外对不同口音的英语也要有所准备,我的美国面试官是一印度男士。因为我对印度英语的语言环境不了解,再加上是手机接通的,所以整个电话接通过程中,效果不是很好。当然,我美国的同学告诉我,美国本土人是很容易听懂印度英语,主要是印度英语和美国地方方言一样溶入在美国文化中,我想中国英语也一样。所以,想申请这个职位的朋友对自己强化不同口音环境的听力非常重要。

    面试我的中方经理海浪先生很和蔼和客气,在他那面试的时候正好是中饭边缘,面试结束后,他很客气的邀请我和ASPEN上海工作人员共进午餐,对此记忆尤新,深表感谢。

    尽管最后的美国电话面试失败了,但这不会改变我对源自Massachusetts Institute of Technology  的 ASPEN TECH的良好印象。

    非常感谢大家对AspenTech的兴趣。 我们的招聘还在进行。 过去的2个多月我们在中华英才网, 前程无忧,以及招聘网发布招聘, 共收到了700多封简历, 录用了16位。 目前他们正在接受来自美国的同事的为期3周的培训。4月份我们会安排另外一次培训, 另外某些员工会被送到美国去接受培训。我们是一家在全球有32家分公司的跨国公司, 员工的成长和兴趣是我们关心的重点。

    福利方面有几点我想提一下:
    1, 除法定假日之外, 每位员工每年有15天带薪假期, 加10天带薪病假。 共25个工作日(5周)。
    2, 公司提供四金, 上海外服具体处理。
    3, 每年有一定百分比的工资浮动(除非你是表现最差的)。
    4, 我们不要求也不鼓励员工加班。


    我们现在还有几个职位开放, 计划在4月底之前招到。 我们想确认我们招到的是非常合适的人选, 而不仅仅是因为我们需要招人。招聘的原则是先来先到。 比如我们3月6号收到你的简历, 可能3月7号做电话面试, 假如你通过, 我们可能会安排你3月8号就来公司面试, 如果你又通过, 可能3月8号晚上就会是最后一轮面试。 如果你通过, 3月9号你就会收到录用信。我们不会等到4月底再告诉你结果。一旦这个职位被满足, 就不会再考虑其他候选人。无论你在上海还是外地, 你的简历通过筛选的话我们总是会先做电话面试, 如果你在外地并且通过了电话面试, 我们会安排你来公司面试, 个别情况我们会报销你的开销(完全取决于我们对你的感兴趣程度)。

    需要强调的一点就是英语。 所有的面试都会是英文面试。 不论你水平多高, 如果不能清楚的表达你自己, 或者听不懂我们的问题, 那就很困难。

    目前只剩下中级工程师及以上的几个职位, 中级工程师要求硕士+1.5年或本科+3年, 具体要求请看工作介绍。 谢谢。

    美国电面之后一天都会出结果么

    昨天晚上刚刚美国电面了,今天没有给出结果,不知道是不是......

    感觉电话信号很差,真的影响心情,唉,等待通知

    不知道拒掉会不会给消息,还是直接就无视掉

    我的简历发出了,我05年毕业,加入华为上研所。06年去一家美资软件公司从事测试工作,现在是测试leader,喜欢外资环境,没有语言障碍,基本没有文化障碍,可以快速习惯印度英语(以前有个印度PM)。
    流程和技术上基础扎实,有切实的项目管理经验。

    I've sent my resume to you,i graduated from University of Shanghai for Science and Technology(USST) with a bachelor degree in 2005.7 and join HUAWEI tech that year。2006.1 i joined software US company located in Sanjose CA headquarter Shanghai.

    I am really good at not only kinds of testing but the deep understand in the whole circle of developing, and what's more important i am good at communication inner or outside.

    Quick learning is an other advantage of mine, which based on excellent language basic and solid knowledgement in Communication tech and Computer Science.
