Responsibilities:

Work with little supervision in localization of Symantec products into Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese and Korean.

Work with other teams to make sure qualified localization products be delivered on time.

Extract/leverage/merge translation kit, analyze/resolve localization bugs with minimal supervision.

Communicate with global cross-functional teams on localization engineering process and progress.

Develop automation tools and/or web application to enable better productivity and efficiency.

Requirements:  
- 3+ years in software development experience (1+ years in software localization)
- Programming skill in .NET, JAVA, PHP
- Scripting skill in Java script, VB script, Perl, window BAT, Unix shell  
- Able to work accurately under pressure to meet deadlines;  
- Personal drive for excellence and high work standards;  
- Knowledge of Windows OS, networking concepts & technologies, and information security.  
- Good English read and writing skill, Fluent in oral English is a plus;
- Japanese or Korean capability is a plus.
- A Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related is required.  MS degree is preferred.
