We are currently looking for some individuals to fill the role of Software QA Engineer

Description

This position is responsible for simple to moderately complex testing and test automation tasks that may require some design and analysis.   This individual operates under general supervision.

Responsibilities

• Performs software testing and verification
• Participates in software requirements and design review
• Writes simple test cases for well defined functions
• Runs simple to moderately complex test cases
• Executes functional, regression and system tests
• Verifies well defined product features according to documents
• Designs simple test tools
• Builds test systems and automate tests
• Runs routine tests and software build

Qualification

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent
• Basic understanding of QA process
• Good understanding of products
• Ability to run test cases correctly and identify software defects effectively
• Basic knowledge of entire software development process, including design, programming and documentation
• Good communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Basic understanding of product goals and their business impact
• Good productivity and quality results
• Basic ability to estimate testing projects and meet the schedules with quality
• Ability to design test plans and test cases effectively
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows is an assert
