JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title : Software Verification Engineer
Band : P/LP
Department : Surgery Engineering, STO China
Manager : Surgery Software Engineering Manager
Location : Beijing

Primary Responsibilities:
· Design and execute software verification protocol for software system test and reliability test. Program and run scripts based on automatic test strategy and tools.
· Drive and execute computerized systems validation program to validate non-product computerized systems; Drive and execute TSOUP (development libraries and tools) validation.
· Deploy test infrastructure, including but not limited to hardware test JIG, automatic test tools and test management tools.
· Record and report defects exactly and assist software designers to fix the defects.

Education And Experiences:
· Bachelor or above with major in computer science or relative field.
· 2-5 years of software/product test experiences are desired but strong college graduates are encouraged to apply.

Abilities And Skills:
· Sound foundation in software test theory and methodology.
· Strong interest in and ability to pursue bugs, both through black box testing and white box testing.
· Solid programming skills in C/C++ or Java or scripting languages such as Perl, python, shell, etc.
· Familiar with software static analysis tools, run-time test tools, automatic test tools and test management tools.
· Sound software engineering foundation with good practices.
· Rich experience with middle/large scale software/product test is a plus.
· Experience in ClearCase and/or Linux system administration is a plus.
