Duties and responsibilities
•        Lead and deliver a software module based on design and requirements;
•        Provide technical guidance to the team; mentoring and coaching junior members.
•        Analyze requirements, design and develop systems; author technical documents in English;
•        Participation in architectural discussions and reviews;
•        Participate in customer centric engineering activities to provide prompt fixes for customer bugs.
Qualifications and skills
•        Deep systems-level programming skills in Java.
•        5+ years of J2EE applications experience. Familiar with J2EE architecture and design patterns.
•        Strong problem solving and software development/troubleshooting skill.
•        Must be a self-starter, team player, be able to work cohesively within the team and across geographically spread teams to accomplish results
•        Verbal and written communications skills in both Chinese & English.
•        In-depth understanding of Weblogic Server, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, clustered deployment etc.
•        Strong database design, data modeling and performance tuning experience; expertise with Oracle database desired.
•        Working experience with Web Services, SOAP, WSDL, and XML. Experience with Struts, Hibernate or any OR mapping technologies.
•        Familiar with network protocols, including TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, and SNMP
Education
BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience required. Master preferred.
