1. Position Title: Software Setting Engineer

Position Description:
The successful candidate will be a member of MP SW Stream of Beijing Product Creation where Nokia mobile phones developed.

The main Responsibilities:
- Create and validate Product Default variant;
- Implement and validate Maximus setting;
- Update all variants to the newest Sales SW;
- Generate Setting related Document and put needed SW into Production system;
- Coordinate for country and operator variants implementation;
- Support Production Testing Team & Customer Service team for settings related issues;
- Data package creation
- Error handling;
- Maintain Flashing environment;
- Create and maintain Common setting tools;

Needed Competencies and Skills:
- Bachelor or above degree in SW Engineering;
- Typically at least 2 years directly related experience or 2-4 years overall professional experience;
- SW developer or build manager experience is preferred
- Process oriented when dealing daily work and discussion;
- be able and willing to create scripts to improve work efficiency;
- Be persistent in driving issues to be completely solved and willing to challenge authority;
- Proactive and honest in nature and be able to work with people of various disciplines;
- Be able to manage multiple tasks/programs;
- Good communication skill with speaking and writing in English.

- Professional work experience with Continuus and SW build/CM experience will be a plus;

4． (Senior) Software Test Engineer
Head counter: 1

•        Position Description:
You will have the chance to work with the world's leading manufacturer of sophisticated mobile phones and join a team of talented engineers. You will work with software design engineers to test and verify the software platforms and software components for the state-of-art mobile terminal products. This position will enable you to understand the software architecture of mobile terminal products and to develop your software engineering skills.

•        Responsibilities:
-        Define software test plans according to project requirements
-        Design, develop and maintain the software test harness/tool for code level testing, automation test tool and scripts for testing.
-        Design software test specifications, develop and execute the test cases
-        Generate reports and communicate the findings with the design teams
-        Follow software testing process and solve engineering problems
-        Contribute to improve the software process, tool and quality

•        Competencies and Skills:

-        2-4 years SW development/testing experience with good understanding of software testing methods and tools.
-        Work carried out according to specific instruction and set procedures.
-        Gathers relevant information to support problem solving and decision-making.

•        Qualifications:

-        Bachelor degree or above in computer science or related majors.
-        Experience of C/C++, Java and objective-oriented software development/testing.

5．UI Designer （UI Specification）

Position Description:
Design the interaction between the user and the mobile device. Designing features/components based on requirements, working in co-operation with SW Designers, Usability Experts, other UI Designers, graphics designers and Localisation Coordinators.

•        Responsibilities:
-        Create UI design proposals
-        Writing UI specification based on approved design proposal
-        Coordinate UI proposal/UI specification evaluation and review meetings
-        Generate reports and communicate the findings with the design teams
-        Maintain responsible features, suggest for improvements and solve problems
-        Updating UI specification according to occurring changes, error corrections
-        Handling usability issues (testing, end-user needs, feedback from the field)
-        Participate in evaluation and review of UI design proposals and UI specifications owned by other designers
-        Contribute to improve the software process, tool and quality

•        Competencies and Skills:
Excellent technical writing and communication skills in both Chinese and English.
Good understanding of computer sciences and technology.
Understand user needs and strong logical thinking ability.
Knowledge of internationalization and localization within Nokia.

•        Responsibilities
• Participate in customer requirement analysis and identify the SW components that needs to be developed, make Analysis & System Design for new features  
• Perform works including design, implementation, module testing and bug fixing for SW components
• Responsible for the documentation of related design, implementation and error correction documents
• Provides technical support to e.g. partners  
• To study/follow-up/evaluate new applications, UI designs and other related technologies and to provide information for product planning  
• To follow ISA SW engineering process and to solve engineering problems  
• Error-tracking, quality control and risk management

•        Competencies and Skills:
1) M.Sc or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar field is required.
2) 5+ years of work experience in embedded software development and real time programming.
3) Experienced on Nokia S40 SW development and experience woking with PlatoEdit/Vader would be a plus.  Good team worker with strong analytical and problem solving skills and work experience with engineering team located in multiple sites. Self motivated and achievement oriented.  Good command of written and oral English.


6． SW Test Manager/Coordinator
Head counter:2（one person one position）

Position Description:
We are looking for talented candidate working as Software Test Manager in MP SW Delivery Test & Error & Customer Techinical Approval organization in Nokia Mobile Phone R&D.

The successful candidate will be responsible to:

o Analyze and translate Product SW requirements into SW Testing requirements;
o Create and maintain SW Test Master Plan by including Functional & System Testing, Field Test, Customer Pre-Acceptance Test, User Guide validation, Testing Metrics and TRUE etc.
o Influence and keep aligned with branch SW Testing strategy and plan;
o Be ownership of SW Test Plan execution;
o Report testing status and update test plan on regular basis (at least milestone based);
o Ownership of BFR estimation pior to SW production.
o Be representative in branch SW Testing coordination forum and SW Test Management Forum (if relevant)by synchronizing process and strategy between Beijing and other 4 geographical locations.

You need to keep closely working with Software Project Leader, Program Software Error Manager, Integration & Release Coordinator, Test Engineering Team Leader, Local Proecess Owners of each forums etc. to fulfill and exceed test requirements and customer expectations.

As a Kong Ming Software Test Manager, you should provide technical and team leadership in your area of expertise and also mentor other colleagues.

Requirements:

Bachelor or Master degree in Eletronic Engineering or Computer Science/Engineering
. 5+ years of experience in software design, build or test, preferably in the mobile phone industry
. Detailed knowledge of software engineering methodologies as well as knowledge in embeded software design/test or system engineering
. High skill in manipulating planning and presentation tools
. Proactive and honest in nature and be able to work with people of various disciplines.
. Be able to present ideas clearly and concisely in English and have both good writing and oral skills.

It is also preferred that you have one or more of the following expertise:
. Working knowledge in Core, Protocol or PC software
. Pratices in Type Approval, Interperobility or Field Test
. Hands-on experience in SW Integration
. Experience in GSM, GPRS, EDGE, or W-CDMA
. Knowledge of test automation and ability to create automation scripts
