If Allow Anonymous Access is selected, IIS launches the TestDirector Application Server with the same user account that enables anonymous access to IIS. The user account for IIS anonymous access is IUSR_machine, where machineis the NetBIOS name of the machine at the time IIS was installed.
If Basic Authentication is selected, IIS launches the TestDirector Application Server with the same user account that is used for basic authenticated access to IIS.
Integrated Windows Authentication is best suited for an intranet environment. The current Windows user information on the client machine is used to launch the TestDirector Application Server. Not that only Microsft browsers (IE version 2.0 or higher) support this authentication method and this method does not work over HTTP Proxy connections. Once this method selected, you must allow everyone in the intranet to launch the TestDirector Application server.
