Responsibility:

Working in a global team with team members in India, United States, Europe, Mexico and Shanghai.  Job is based in Shanghai.  Flexible work schedule due to timezone differences.  The SCM Engineer will have the follow job responsibilities:

- Set up/Enhance/Maintain of SCM system.

- Cooperate with U.S. and India site to maintain multisite SCM system.

- Develop, maintain and distribute SCM plan.

- Perform integration builds.

- Responsible for release management for multiple software products.

- Involve in entire software development lifecycle, perform version control, change control, baseline, building and release.

- Responsible for internal SCM training

- SCM Server administration



Requirement

- Bachelor or master degree in computer science or related major, with at least 5 years full time working experience in IT and software engineering industry

- Proficiency in English.  Strong oral English communication skills.

- Knowledgeable in software development environment, tools, and technologies

- Team-working attitude willing to share and help others.

- Ability to work productively on multiple projects.


Technical qualifications:

- At least 3 years in software configuration management experience.  5-7 years preferred.

- Strong knowledge in ClearCase/ClearQuest.

- Strong knowledge and working experience with HP-UX,Linux, Windows 2003.

- Experience in scripting languages, software integration and release, build tools such as Ant
