Responsibilities:

Job responsibilities –
Responsible for testing clients web applications, databases, and internet services along with creating test schedules, detailing test cases, test plans, and consolidating, and reporting test results.
Lead and direct testing activities of the team (working with the Test Manager) for projects, performance-related work, production issues, and other test activities.
You will interface regularly with Software Engineers, Managers, Technical Leads, and fellow SQA staff on designing (testability into Clients products and developing efficient debugging and fault isolation techniques.
You will also isolate and troubleshoot bugs (not just symptoms) and participate in design and code reviews, translating your observations and output into streamlined, effective test strategies.
You will also identify, track and analyze key quality metrics.

Qualifications/Requirements –
BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology field. Advanced degree preferred.
Comprehensive knowledge of software development process, including software design and programming.
Exp. coding in C/C++/C# or Java preferred
Usage of .NET Framework
Web Services Testing
5+ years experience in Software Quality Assurance methodologies, process and best practices along with strong understanding of current internet application development technology.
2+ years of Database testing experience, ideally with MS SQL Server.
Must be familiar with Windows operating systems.
2+ years experience in automated performance, load, stress, and scalability testing using a commercial performance test tool
Familiarity with UML.

Other Skills –
Experience working in a team-oriented collaborative environment (onshore and offshore)
Experience leading a team of 5 or more individuals
Excellent English written and oral communication skills
Self-motivated and results oriented
Analytical and problem solving skills

A Plus –
Working knowledge of GAMP software compliance/validation requirements is a plus.
3+ yrs of test automation experience with at least 1 commercial test tool, such as Compuware TestPartner and QARun, Mercury Interactive WinRunner, Rational Robot, Empirix E-Test, etc.
Team Foundation Server (TFS)
Experience with Biztalk
