Roles and Responsibilities:
The LPM will be responsible for successful completion of localization projects within agreed time frame, at the highest possible quality and under strong cost control. He or she will be leading the localization project from beginning to end, including resource allocation, managing translation vendors around the world, providing instructions, tracking and monitoring the project. He or she also needs to work closely with other internal teams working on the same product to make sure the success of the project delivery.
Main tasks:
1.Provide project cost/time estimation and prepare detailed project plans.
2.Allocate internal and external resources (translation team, SW, HW, budget) before project starts.
3.Prepare source files for vendors with clear instructions.
4.Make necessary preparation for SW LQA and Doc LQA.
5.Guide and monitor all project team members to make sure the project is on quality, on track and within budget.
6.Work closely with other internal teams (QA team, core dev team, GPM team etc) to make sure smooth running of the project.
7.Lead postmortem activities after project closes.
Requirements:
1.Bachelor degree
2.At least 3 years of localization project management experience. Well understanding of various aspects on project management.
3.Good understanding of Localization workflow and SW product lifecycle.
4.Skillful in CAT tools and IE tools like Trados, Passolo, Adobe suite etc.
5.Good at using MS project.
6.Basic understanding of different programming languages such as XML, Java, etc is a plus.

7.Logical and analytical ability in solving problems.
8.Self-starter and quick learner.
9.Excellent communication skills, able to communicate effectively with world wide teams.
10.Demonstrated leadership and meanwhile, a good team player.
11.Excellent English skills (spoken, written).
