Position:      Localization/Internationalization tester
Location:      BJ

Responsibility:
1.        Work on localization/internationalization testing for the mobile product and the  applications.
2.        Cooperate with various development and test teams located in multiple national cities.
3.        On-site work in U.S. for a short period.
4.        Define and deploy project test schedule and plan, test processes, and in charge of project delivery quality and schedule.
5.        Drive test activities ( test case design/review, testing execution manually / automatically, bug/issue tracking/resolving, automation development,  and test project review)
6.        Grow up test team with good understanding and behavior of company culture

Qualification
1.        BS/MS in Computer Science (or related field).
2.        At least 2 years testing international products and mobile applications, working knowledge of Windows, Macintosh and Linux OS.
3.        Solid Knowledge of mobile telecommunication technologies and experience with wireless mobile device operating systems: Android, WinMobile, Symbian or Palm.
4.        Proficient in developing effective test cases that expose product problems, in executing tests, troubleshooting and analyzing results in time efficient way, in generating clear and convincing defect reports, in working effectively with development engineers to resolve problems.
5.        In depth understanding of the software localization process and I18N-dependencies, such as Unicode compliance of the data sent to and out, sorting of strings of various encodings, date and time formats, numeric symbols and currency conventions in different locales (e.g. North America, European and Latin America.)
6.        Solid knowledge of the software development processes, software QA and testing methodologies and being able to apply these principles and perform effectively in fast paced work environments.
7.        Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to articulate problems.
8.        Effective time management and tasks prioritization, capability to handle simultaneous projects, to work independently and to deliver high quality product under string deadlines.
9.        Self-starter with positive go-getter and strong team player attitude.
10.        Love software testing and work with passion and pro-actively
11.        Strong experience in software quality assurance is a plus.
12.        Experience working with SQL databases and with at least one scripting language - PERL, PHP, preferably JavaScript is a plus.
