Java Software Engineer


Job Description

Job Type: Permanent

Number of persons:  2

Responsibilities:

-Hands on experience in coding using Java and Web Technologies
-Hands on experience in Java IDEs for coding and debugging
-Good understanding of Functional and Technical requirements
-Good understanding of use cases, technical specification and detail design
-Creating test plans and developing Test Scripts; perform unit testing; log, track and fix defects
-Perform code reviews(peer reviews), document the findings, track and fix defects
-Participate in project meetings, provide status and effort information t-the Team Lead on assigned tasks and highlight issues/risks
-Must have good oral and written communication skills

Qualification:

- 1~3 years Java developing experience
-Core Java - Strong in Threads, Collections, java.lang.package, Strings, java concepts and Exceptions.
-OOPS/OOAD - Strong in Object Oriented Programming Concepts
-XML - Basic knowledge about XML, DTD, Schemas and Parsers.
-Unit Testing - Practical experience on Unit Testing frameworks like JUnit/TestNG.
-Web Technologies: Proficiency in Servlet, JSP, Java Script, HTML.
-RDBMS: Knowledge of database concepts, queries and thorough knowledge of JDBC.
-IDE & App Server: Practical experience on an IDE (eclipse, netbeans, WSAD etc.) and Application Server (WebSphere, Weblogic, Tomcat, Jboss, Glassfish etc.)
- Bachelor degree is must and good English is highly preferred

Senior Java Software Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities

- Define and review Functional / Technical requirements
- Understand high level design, ddetailed design and participate in design reviews
- Coding assigned work, helping peers tunderstand design and resolve technical issues
- Perform and verify impact analysis of Change Requests
- Investigating new JEE technologies
- Perform code reviews, document the findings, track and fix defects
- Consulting colleagues concerning maintenance and performance of software systems
- Ensuring organization process compliance
- Participate in project meetings, provide status, effort information and highlight issues/risks
- Participate (provide or receive information) in team learning and knowledge sharing activities
- Help create/update guidelines, enhance standards, checklists etc
- Should be able tparticipate in Client calls.

Qualification:

- 3~5 years Java developing experience

- RDBMS: Complex queries, joins, stored proc, functions etc. Thorough knowledge of JDBC.
- Frameworks: Proficiency in at least one f/w like Struts/JSF/Spring MVC. Strong knowledge about at east one OR Mapper.
- GoF Patterns: Good knowledge about Patterns like (Abstract Factory, Factory Method, Singleton, Proxy, Adapter, Builder, Facade etc.)
- Java/JEE Patterns: Good knowledge about the important ones like DAO, session fa？ade, Business Delegate, VO.
- JEE: Knowledge of JMS, JNDI.
- IDE & App Server: Practical experience on an IDE (eclipse, netbeans, WSAD etc.) and Application Server (WebSphere, Weblogic, Tomcat, Jboss, Glassfish etc.)"

Senior Testing Engineer
